Proverbs 12:26 New International Version (NIV)
26 The righteous choose their friends carefully,
but the way of the wicked leads them astray.
It is good these days to choose our friends wisely. We want people who have the same beliefs that we do to be our confidants and brothers and sisters in Christ. We want this because when our thoughts or actions start taking us in a direction opposite of the gospel of Christ, our friend or confidant will speak up and tell us, “Hey you are wrong there!!!! You are going down the wrong path!!!!! You are headed in the wrong direction!!!!!!” Also we want to to be able to present Christ just and right before people. We do this by living by what the bible says. We do this by people seeing Christ in us; in our actions and in our speech. Our friends and confidants help us to do this. People in groups are often influenced by the others in the group to act a certain way and to talk a certain way. We should influence each other to do good, to follow Christ example, to stay strong in Christ in the midst of controversy and adversity. We should choose people who are going to keep us on the path of righteousness and not pull us astray doing the wrong things. A good friend looks out for our well being in this world and the world to come. This is why the righteous choose their friends carefully.
The wicked make friends for different reasons. They may make friends because it may help their career to be associated with these people. These may be doing everything but living a Christian life. The wicked will not interfere. They do not care how their employer is living; just continue to give them their check. In order for them to get their check they may have to join these people in their wickedness. They begin to believe this is not so bad what they are doing. It is bad because it goes against the will of God. They may be driving nice cars and living in big homes, wearing nice clothes, and their children may attend the best private schools. They appear to have no worries or cares but one day they are going to have to leave this world. There is a heaven and there is a hell. We are going to one or the other. Choose ye this day where you are going. I would like to share this story with you from the bible. It is about the rich man and Lazarus.
Luke 16:19-31 New International Version (NIV)
The Rich Man and Lazarus
19 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’
25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’
27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’
29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’
30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’
31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”
Lazarus time on earth was not good. He had a very rough life. He probably could’ve connected with some wicked people who could have given him some conveniences to make this life easier but he didn’t. He remained loyal and faithful to God Yahweh. There were probably church people that even questioned if he was saved. He doesn’t look saved. He doesn’t look like a Christian. What does a saved person look like? What does a Christian look like? I guess people would say they look like the man dressed in purple and fine linen but look where he ended up; in hell he opened his eyes.
James 2:3-7 New International Version (NIV)
3 If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, “Here’s a good seat for you,” but say to the poor man, “You stand there” or “Sit on the floor by my feet,” 4 have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
5 Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him? 6 But you have dishonored the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court? 7 Are they not the ones who are blaspheming the noble name of him to whom you belong?
Only God can judge people. God sees people in their entirety. He knows the person. He knows the good that they do and He knows the bad. We can’t look at people and think they are good because they were name brand clothes and the latest fashions. The world judges people by what they can see. God judges correctly because He sees and knows everything about the person. God is looking at more than just their appearance. He is looking at their heart. You may say what does this have to do with friendships. Well, Lazarus had the best friend he could’ve had and that is Father God (Yahweh) himself.
“Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.”
Lazarus was like the eagle. Eagles don’t follow the crowd. Eagles don’t get messed up in other people’s sins. Eagles fly alone. There are going to be times on our Christian journey when we are going to have to go the extra mile for Jesus and we may have to do that alone. It may look like we are alone but, no we are never truly alone. Our God Yahweh is with us every step of the way. He helps us to make to the end of our Christian journey.
Don’t be like the chicken who is always in a coop with other chickens flapping their wings, clucking and flapping their wings, fighting for food and pecking other chickens in their head.
Learn to be like the eagle. These birds are very powerful and majestic. The eagle lives life with passion and with a purpose. Live like the eagle. Amen!!!!!!!!!
It takes courage to follow the Holy Spirit. We step out of the ordinary into the super ordinary when we follow the Spirit. Things happen that don’t normally happen. It breaks the routine of things. It interrupts our schedule. It breaks up the mundane. It’s almost like a special news bulletin that interrupts your normal television schedule. “We interrupt this broadcast for a special news bulletin from NBC news”. Well this is Keicha Gates interrupting your normal ordinary day with a special update from God himself; the update is that “God loves you and is leading you out of dangerous situations and difficult circumstances”. God will lead us, if we allow Him to take the lead. Let us come to the realization that we can not see very far ahead of us. God sees everything and knows everything. If we listen to Him and follow the direction of the Holy Ghost we can avoid meeting the wrong people and going to the wrong places. This is why some of us are having difficulties in our lives now. We were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Lets look at King David shall we. King David did not go to war with the men but stayed in Jerusalem. Bad decision!!!!!!! One evening King David got up and went to the rooftop of the palace; from the rooftop he saw a beautiful woman, Bathsheba, bathing. He sent messengers to go and get her. David had sexual relations with Bathsheba and she went back to her home. Later Bathsheba got word to King David that she was pregnant.
2 Samuel 11:2-5 New International Version (NIV)
2 One evening David got up from his bed and walked around on the roof of the palace. From the roof he saw a woman bathing. The woman was very beautiful,3 and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, “She is Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite.” 4 Then David sent messengers to get her. She came to him, and he slept with her. (Now she was purifying herself from her monthly uncleanness.) Then she went back home. 5 The woman conceived and sent word to David, saying, “I am pregnant.”
David was in a jam. He had been in the wrong place, at the wrong time, with the wrong somebody. What was David going to do? David started scheming and plotting. He asked that Bathsheba husband, Uriah the Hittite, be sent to him. King David wanted him to sleep with his wife so everyone would think this baby was his baby but Uriah did not sleep with Bathsheba. Instead he slept at the entrance of the palace with all the other master servants (2 Samuel 11:9). Uriah did not feel this was the right thing to do since the men were sleeping out in open fields. Why should he go home to wine and dine and sleep with his wife.
Next King David had him to dine and eat with him. David got him drunk. Uriah still did not go home to be with Bathsheba. Instead he slept on the mat among his masters servants.
King David was failing miserably. He finally wrote a note to Joab, commander of David armies, and sent it with Uriah. The note commanded that Uriah be put on the front lines where the fighting is the fiercest and withdraw from him so he will be struck down and killed (2 Samuel 11:14-15).
David had become reckless, thoughtless, careless, murderous, lustful, and unwise. All because he was at the wrong place, at the wrong time, with the wrong person. David thought he had gotten away with this but God was not going to let David get away with it. God sent the prophet Nathan to visit King David. Nathan told King David a story.
“There were two men in a certain town, one rich and the other poor. 2 The rich man had a very large number of sheep and cattle, 3 but the poor man had nothing except one little ewe lamb he had bought. He raised it, and it grew up with him and his children. It shared his food, drank from his cup and even slept in his arms. It was like a daughter to him.
4 “Now a traveler came to the rich man, but the rich man refrained from taking one of his own sheep or cattle to prepare a meal for the traveler who had come to him. Instead, he took the ewe lamb that belonged to the poor man and prepared it for the one who had come to him.”
5 David burned with anger against the man and said to Nathan, “As surely as the Lord lives, the man who did this must die! 6 He must pay for that lamb four times over, because he did such a thing and had no pity.”
7 Then Nathan said to David, “You are the man! This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul. 8 I gave your master’s house to you, and your master’s wives into your arms. I gave you all Israel and Judah. And if all this had been too little, I would have given you even more. 9 Why did you despise the word of the Lord by doing what is evil in his eyes? You struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and took his wife to be your own. You killed him with the sword of the Ammonites. 10 Now, therefore, the sword will never depart from your house, because you despised me and took the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your own.’
11 “This is what the Lord says: ‘Out of your own household I am going to bring calamity on you. Before your very eyes I will take your wives and give them to one who is close to you, and he will sleep with your wives in broad daylight. 12 You did it in secret, but I will do this thing in broad daylight before all Israel.’” ( 2 Samuel 12:1-12)
It may look like people are getting away with sin but truly they are not because God sees everything. In David’s sinful actions, he forgot all about God. It took the prophet, a person who was not afraid of David’s position of authority to correct him and see the error of his ways. God is over kings, emperors, queens, sultans, pharaohs, princes, princesses, czars, dukes and all people of positions of authority. God is over them all. God is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Everything and everybody comes under his dominion. God rules and reign. Remember that when you think that high officials in this country or another country are getting away with things. God will bring them back to reality. Amen.
People living in today’s society are not interested in what the bible has to say. They live their life according to their standards and what makes them feel good. The bible is the corrector of man kind. We can not just believe anything and everything and expect to make into heaven. There is one way and that is through Jesus. If we try to make it any other kind of way, we are a thief and a robber.
John 10:1 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
10 “Verily, verily I say unto you, he that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
There are people who want to always be in charge, always be in control when truly they shouldn’t because they are serving their own self interests and not thinking of the welfare of others. During Jesus time these people were Scribes and Pharisees. They did not acknowledge Jesus nor listen to His teachings. Jesus was bothersome to them because He did things they way God wanted things done. Jesus had compassion for people that the Scribes and Pharisees cared nothing about. There was only a certain sect or clique of people they were concerned with and that was the wealthy. They were not concerned with people who were outside their social status or income bracket. The Scribes and the Pharisees made sure they wealthy were taken care of while others had to fend for themselves.
Today, really this what the world does. There is a saying that if you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours. All this means is that that if they help you, you will help them.
This is worldly thinking. God wants us to help if we have the ability to help someone. We should never look to get help back from the person we helped. God will reward us for what we do.
Colossians 3:23-24 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not unto men,
24 knowing that from the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance, for ye serve the Lord Christ.
Externally the Scribes and Pharisees were extremely holy but inwardly they were carnal sinful people. True Christians are not concerned with getting approval from people. There are those who are always concerned about how they are perceived by other people. People may say they are good when actually they are terrible and rotten to the core. God sees what man can not. There are those who know all the pretense of acting holy without actually being holy. Then there are those who obey and do what the Lord says. The bible has top priority in their lives and it is seen in their lives. In today’s world people will be ostracized, talked about, and laughed at for listening to Jesus but God tells great is our reward in heaven.
Matthew 5:11-12 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
11 Blessed are ye when men shall revile you and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for My sake.
12 Rejoice and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in Heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets who were before you.
Really we should smile when this happens because that means we are doing something right. They would not be talking about us so badly if our life was not having an real impact on the world and on those who are living around us. Continue to listen to Jesus. Continue to listen to His words. There is life with Jesus; without Him there is only death.
Prayer: Father thank you for your Son Jesus who came to this earth doing what you asked Him; destroying the works of the devil. Father help your church to not be intimidated or afraid to listen your Son Jesus words and to act upon His Words. When we move when you tell us to move and say what you tell us to say a difference is seen and known. There are people Lord who are hurting and have no way out but Jesus. It’s Jesus or nothing. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He is the same Lord that made a path through the Red Sea and the children of Israel walked on dry ground. He is the same Lord that made the manna fall from the sky so the children of Israel would have food to eat. He is the same Lord that made the walls of Jericho fall down. Nothing is too hard for God and nothing is impossible with God. Father God (Yahweh) help people to turn to Jesus. Help them turn from doing things there way to your way. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). Amen!!!!!!
Hello people, I want to talk to you today about craving God’s Word. When we think about the word craving, probably more than likely we are craving something unhealthy for us; something we do not need. People rarely crave apples, oranges, grapes, and grapefruit. These kind of foods are healthy and nutritious for us and help our bodies to function like they should.
The Word of God is healthy and nutritious for our mind, body, soul, and spirit.
The Word of God helps us to build healthy relationships with people and to be a better person. It helps us to progress and move forward in life.
Philippians 3:13-14 New International Version (NIV)
13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
The Word of God heals wounds we receive from others who speak carelessly.
Jeremiah 30:17 New International Version (NIV)
17 But I will restore you to health
and heal your wounds,’
declares the Lord,
‘because you are called an outcast,
Zion for whom no one cares.’
The Word of God teaches us to forgive.
Colossians 3:13 New International Version (NIV)
13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
The Word of God gives us purpose.
Exodus 9:16 New International Version (NIV)
16 But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.
Life is not empty and meaningless anymore. We have a reason to get up every morning. Our life is about honoring God with our thoughts and actions and obeying what He has asked us to do.
The Word of God causes us to grow spiritually.
1 Peter 2:2 New International Version (NIV)
2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,
We do not look at the life the same anymore. Life is better. The more we understand; the more of God we desire.
The Word of God causes anxiety and fears to disappear.
Psalm 34:4 New International Version (NIV)
4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears.
The Word of God causes us to overcome.
1 John 5:4 New International Version (NIV)
4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
Revelation 12:11 King James Version (KJV)
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
The Word of God brings us comfort.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 King James Version (KJV)
3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
The Word of God gives us divine direction.
Proverbs 3:6 King James Version (KJV)
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
The Word of God gives us life.
James 1:18 New International Version (NIV)
18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of all he created.
The Word of God gives us wisdom.
Proverbs 2:6 New International Version (NIV)
6 For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
The Word of God gives us all this. Let us learn to crave this instead of something hasty and quick. Good things come to those who wait. Oh one more thing.
The Word of God gives us patience.
Romans 15:4-5 King James Version (KJV)
4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
Hello everyone and welcome to my website. Today I want to talk on our mind. Our mind plays a very major role in our lives. The mind permeates every cell of the human body. The mind is a set of cognitive faculties including consciousness, perception, thinking, judgment, and memory. It is usually defined as the faculty of an entity’s thoughts and consciousness. It holds the power of imagination, recognition, and appreciation, and is responsible for processing feelings and emotions, resulting in attitudes and actions. The mind is different from our brain. The brain is an organ in the body that controls all vital human function. Physiologically, the function of the brain is to exert centralized control over the other organs of the body. The mind ultimately has dominion over the brain. The way we think has control over our brain and body. The mind is powerful. If the devil can get our mind, then he has us. This is why it is important to keep our minds meditating on scriptures so our brain and body will be submission to Jesus.
The bible tells us not to fear. Whatever we may encounter in life we are not to be afraid of it. The bible teaches us to face things that fear us and have faith that God will be with us through the storms of life.
Matthew 7:25 King James Version (KJV)
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
We do not have to fear. Anything that comes our way while living here on earth God has given us the ability, knowledge, and understanding to handle it. People of God keep your minds wrapped around the word of God. Let not the devil plant seeds of doubt in your mind. GOD needs people who know HIM and know what HE can do.
James 1:5-8 King James Version (KJV)
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
GOD need people who know that GOD can do all things. As a person thinks so he does. Our thoughts lead to action. God’s words lead us to Godly action.
Mark 5:1-8 New International Version (NIV)
Jesus Restores a Demon-Possessed Man
5 They went across the lake to the region of the Gerasenes.2 When Jesus got out of the boat, a man with an impure spirit came from the tombs to meet him. 3 This man lived in the tombs, and no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain. 4 For he had often been chained hand and foot, but he tore the chains apart and broke the irons on his feet. No one was strong enough to subdue him. 5 Night and day among the tombs and in the hills he would cry out and cut himself with stones.
6 When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees in front of him. 7 He shouted at the top of his voice, “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? In God’s name don’t torture me!” 8 For Jesus had said to him, “Come out of this man, you impure spirit!”
Jesus did not fear the man or the impure spirits but faced the man and the spirits and cast them out. The GOD who is with us is mightier than anything you may face. We have got to believe this.
No one knows how this man got like this. In today’s society, someone may suspect he was on drugs or bipolar. People pay all this money going to psychiatrists or psychologists. Jesus is the best psychiatrist there is. Not meaning to put down this profession but sometimes going to the psychiatrist is not the best thing. Psychotropic drugs are not the answer or solution for everyone. Instead of prescription medication helping people, all it does is create another problem. Now the people may form an addiction to this medication.
Jesus cast the spirits out of the demoniac and that was the end of that.
Mark 5:9-13 New International Version (NIV)
9 Then Jesus asked him, “What is your name?”
“My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.” 10 And he begged Jesus again and again not to send them out of the area.
11 A large herd of pigs was feeding on the nearby hillside. 12 The demons begged Jesus, “Send us among the pigs; allow us to go into them.” 13 He gave them permission, and the impure spirits came out and went into the pigs. The herd, about two thousand in number, rushed down the steep bank into the lake and were drowned.
Another person in the bible I would like to mention who had some mental synapse problems (what I call it) was Nebuchadnezzar. Talk about someone flipping out. This man people was a king of Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar had a dream and could not determine what it meant. Daniel with God’s help gave the correct interpretation.
Daniel 4:25 King James Version (KJV)
25 That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
GOD let Nebuchadnezzar know that the most High (God; Yahweh) ruled, not Him and HE can give the kingdom to whomsoever HE desired. This must have been a humbling experience for Nebuchadnezzar. A king made to eat grass like an animal for seven years.
Sometimes GOD has to humble his people when we forget to seek HIM for what HE desires. A lot of the time it is what the people want. Church leaders give in to the people. GOD is separate from the world and separate from the culture. God (Yahweh) is a holy God. Nothing profanes His Holy name. HE is holy and separate from the wickedness of this world.
2 Corinthians 6:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
Nebuchadnezzar learned from his experience. After seven years of acting like an animal, he got his mind and understanding back.
Daniel 4:34 King James Version (KJV)
34 And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:
When he got his sense back, he started praising GOD. God will teach us. HE is GOD and besides HIM there is no other. We need to learn this lesson today. HE rules the heaven, the earth, the seas, and everything in them. Nebuchadnezzar learned that GOD ruled him.
Daniel 4:37 King James Version (KJV)
37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
Proverbs 11:2 King James Version (KJV)
2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
Proverbs 29:23 King James Version (KJV)
23 A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.
The humble depend on GOD and do not boast on their abilities or talents. Everything belongs to GOD and He has allowed us to care for what is His.
The last person I want to talk about today is Daniel. Daniel was a praying man. He prayed three times a day. His enemies found out about this and tried to use it against him. They asked the king to issue an edict and enforce the decree.
Daniel 6:6-9 New International Version (NIV)
6 So these administrators and satraps went as a group to the king and said: “May King Darius live forever! 7 The royal administrators, prefects, satraps, advisers and governors have all agreed that the king should issue an edict and enforce the decree that anyone who prays to any god or human being during the next thirty days, except to you, Your Majesty, shall be thrown into the lions’ den.8 Now, Your Majesty, issue the decree and put it in writing so that it cannot be altered—in accordance with the law of the Medes and Persians, which cannot be repealed.” 9 So King Darius put the decree in writing.
This did not stop Daniel from praying. Daniel did not fear the people or anything. He kept his mind focused on God (Yahweh) and did those things that were pleasing to His Father in heaven. He did not fear the king and his decree. His mind stayed firmly fixed on continuing to pray.
Daniel 6:10-12 New International Version (NIV)
10 Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened towardJerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.11 Then these men went as a group and found Daniel praying and asking God for help. 12 So they went to the king and spoke to him about his royal decree: “Did you not publish a decree that during the next thirty days anyone who prays to any god or human being except to you, Your Majesty, would be thrown into the lions’ den?”
The king answered, “The decree stands—in accordance with the law of the Medes and Persians, which cannot be repealed.”
Daniel’s enemies were setting up things against Him now. His enemies knew that Daniel would not stop praying.
Daniel 6:13-14 New International Version (NIV)
13 Then they said to the king, “Daniel, who is one of the exiles from Judah, pays no attention to you, Your Majesty, or to the decree you put in writing. He still prays three times a day.” 14 When the king heard this, he was greatly distressed; he was determined to rescue Daniel and made every effort until sundown to save him.
The king had become distressed, because he really cared for Daniel and was trying to figure out a way to save him. Daniel put his faith, his trust, and his life in the hands of God. There are times in our lives when we do not back down. Daniel prayed because God asks us to pray without ceasing. It is important to have contact with God (Yahweh) so that we will continue to live a life that is pleasing in His sight and not live in our flesh. God desires to have fellowship with his creation and does so through prayer. Daniel was not backing down.
Daniel 6:13-18 New International Version (NIV)
13 Then they said to the king, “Daniel, who is one of the exiles from Judah, pays no attention to you, Your Majesty, or to the decree you put in writing. He still prays three times a day.” 14 When the king heard this, he was greatly distressed; he was determined to rescue Daniel and made every effort until sundown to save him.
15 Then the men went as a group to King Darius and said to him, “Remember, Your Majesty, that according to the law of the Medes and Persians no decree or edict that the king issues can be changed.”
16 So the king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions’ den. The king said to Daniel, “May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you!”
17 A stone was brought and placed over the mouth of the den, and the king sealed it with his own signet ring and with the rings of his nobles, so that Daniel’s situation might not be changed. 18 Then the king returned to his palace and spent the night without eating and without any entertainment being brought to him. And he could not sleep.
So the edict was fulfilled. Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den for praying continually to His God. I wonder what was going through His mind in the lion’s den. Perhaps different scriptures that he had hidden in his heart. Perhaps even he was praying in the lion’s den. We do not really know what he did. All we know is that he went in alive and came out alive. Praise be God (Yahweh) in heaven!!!!!!!!! God will bring us out!!!!!!!!
Daniel 6:19-23 New International Version (NIV)
19 At the first light of dawn, the king got up and hurried to the lions’ den. 20 When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?”
21 Daniel answered, “May the king live forever! 22 My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.”
23 The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.
Now those who set Daniel up and tried to get him killed for praying were not as fortunate.
Daniel 6:24 New International Version (NIV)
24 At the king’s command, the men who had falsely accused Daniel were brought in and thrown into the lions’ den, along with their wives and children. And before they reached the floor of the den, the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones.
Prayers will make you feel so secure that your enemies can not defeat or harm you.
Lord Jesus Keep Our Mind
Prayer: Lord let us keep our mind around God and the things of God. Let not the devil plant seeds of doubt, lust, pride, and manipulation in our minds but Lord let our meditation be sweet and pleasing unto you. Whatever thoughts come to us Lord, this is what we desire to do. Thoughts lead to action. Lord, keep our mind on scripture so that our actions will be godly actions. Help us to reveal Jesus everyday in our words and actions. Amen!!!!!!
God is God alone. There is no other God but God Yahweh. He made the earth, the heavens, the sun, stars and moon. God has made everything.
Psalm 24:1 King James Version (KJV)
24 The earth is the Lord‘s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
God so loved man that He put us over His creation.
Psalm 8:4-6 King James Version (KJV)
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
God has made us stewards over creation.
Genesis 1:26-30 English Standard Version (ESV)
26 Then God said, “Let us make man[a] in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.
28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” 29 And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. 30 And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.
And how has people taken care of God’s creation; polluted water, polluted air, polluted soil, chemical spills, oil spills in the ocean, climate change, global warming, genetic modification, ozone layer depletion, and agricultural pollution. These are just a few of the environmental concerns. It does not look like people have done a good job taking care of God’s earth.
Man thinks they can leave this earth and live on another planet. If people are not able to take care of the earth; how are they going to take care of another planet. The same things that happened on the earth will happen on this planet as well. People we need to become better protectors of the earth. God created man and placed us here on the earth. This is where He intended for man to live; not to hop from planet to planet. We need to learn take care of what God has given us and learn how to repair and preserve the environment. Amen
Hebrews 4:16 New International Version (NIV)
16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Let us not fear or be afraid to come to GOD. Yes, He knows what we are doing in all places and and at all times but He is a GOD of compassion an forgiveness. HE is ready to forgive every sin we have ever committed. This is why HE asked HIS Son to die on the cross so that HE could have fellowship again with his people. Sin had separated people from God. The sin of Adam eating from the tree of knowledge in the Garden of Eden messed up everything for everybody. This was the beginning of sin and it progressed and worsened.
Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden and had a family. They had two boys Cain and Abel. The two boys brought offerings to the Lord. Abel’s offering was better than Cain’s.
Genesis 4:4-5 New International Version (NIV)
4 And Abel also brought an offering—fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering, 5 but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast.
Abel brought the best that He had to the Lord while Cain did not.
Genesis 4:6-7 New International Version (NIV)
6 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? 7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”
God corrected Cain but he did not listen. He and Abel went into the field together and Cain killed his brother. The Lord asked Cain where was his brother? Truly God already knew. God sees everything and knows everything. HE knows man is finite and made from the dust of the ground so in his infinite compassion HE always gives us a chance to make it right with Him. God is long suffering, patient, and slow to wrath. Instead of Cain humbling himself and answering God’s question, he asked God a question.
“Am I my brother’s keeper?” (Genesis 4:9)
This shows a lack of respect and fear of God. Who would dare talk to GOD like this? But there are many today who talk about GOD, talk about His church, and the people of GOD like it is nothing. The bible says only a fool says there is no God.
Psalm 14:1 New Life Version (NLV)
14 The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are sinful and their actions are sinful. There is no one who does good.
Cain’s actions were sinful. He was not sorry nor repent for what he has done. So Cain must be punished.
Genesis 4:10-12 New Life Version (NLV)
10 The Lord said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to Me from the ground. 11 Now you are cursed because of the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. 12 When you work the ground, it will no longer give its strength to you. You will always travel from place to place on the earth.”
Cain thought this was a little harsh.
Genesis 4:13-14 New Life Version (NLV)
13 Then Cain said to the Lord, “I am being punished more than I can take! 14 See, this day You have made me go away from the land. And I will be hidden from Your face. I will run away and move from place to place. And whoever finds me will kill me.”
Even when GOD is punishing us there is still compassion.
Genesis 4:15 New Life Version (NLV)
15 So the Lord said to him, “Whoever kills Cain will be punished by Me seven times worse.” And the Lord put a mark on Cain so that any one who found him would not kill him.
Instead of Cain’s descendants learning a valuable lesson from him about not fearing God, they did even worst than Cain.
Genesis 4:23-24 King James Version (KJV)
23 And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.
24 If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.
He was not sorry for doing this and he did not repent. God was merciful to Cain for killing Adam. Lamech was wrong for assuming mercy would be given to him. The hearts of people grow vile during these times. Quite frankly just like the times we are living in now. The hearts of people are depraved and debased. God is looking for us to come to Him and repent of our sins. Just as He gave Cain the opportunity to repent of his sins.
God is a God of love, compassion, and forgiveness. If He is offering us a chance to correct ourselves and make everything right with Him, let us receive it. Let us receive GOD’s forgiveness and receive GOD back into our lives.
Things were not easy for Cain away from the Lord. His life became very hard. He learned a life lesson to always honor, respect, and esteem the Most High God (Yahweh); too bad he didn’t teach his family this.
Prayer: Lord, May the hearts of people soften and turn back to GOD and may the Lord be feared and respected again. Amen
Joshua 6:15-20 New International Version (NIV)
15 On the seventh day, they got up at daybreak and marched around the city seven times in the same manner, except that on that day they circled the city seven times. 16 The seventh time around, when the priests sounded the trumpet blast, Joshua commanded the army, “Shout! For the Lord has given you the city! 17 The city and all that is in it are to be devoted[a] to the Lord. Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall be spared, because she hid the spies we sent. 18 But keep away from the devoted things, so that you will not bring about your own destruction by taking any of them. Otherwise you will make the camp of Israel liable to destruction and bring trouble on it. 19 All the silver and gold and the articles of bronze and iron are sacred to the Lord and must go into his treasury.”
20 When the trumpets sounded, the army shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the men gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so everyone charged straight in, and they took the city.
How many of us now that God Yahweh makes things happen? How many of us know that HE can make hindrances, stumbling blocks, difficulties, barriers, snags, impediments, and restrictions be removed. If we ask God HE will help us get through the barriers and the roadblocks the devil puts in our way to stop us.
Matthew 7:7-8 King James Version (KJV)
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
GOD will give us instruction on how to defeat the devil in his plot to stop you. Just look at our opening scripture. Specific instructions were given to the children of Israel on how to take the city of Jericho. Joshua, the leader of the children of Israel, did not deter from the Lord’s instructions. He believed the LORD and did what he was told. If we are to be successful working for the Lord, we have to learn to listen to HIS instructions and do things HIS way, not ours. It may look like were doing it all wrong but we have to be convinced this is the way the Lord said to do this. Satan will come and try to put doubt in our mind. But we don’t listen to the devil, only to the Lord. HE is the Commander in Chief.
It took a little time to do this. Many times we want something instantly and immediately but it doesn’t always work out that way. We must have confidence in our God and the instructions He give us. GOD will never lead us astray or off course. GOD wants us to succeed. GOD wants us to make it. Don’t be so concerned about how it looks in front of other people. It may look strange to them but God’s people are peculiar people.
1 Peter 2:9 King James Version (KJV)
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light
The world and the church are separate. The world is concerned with the here and now, carnal things, lust of the flesh, pride of life, and lust of the eyes.
1 John 2:16 King James Version (KJV)
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
God is concerned about your life here but He is more concerned about when you leave this world. The church doesn’t put it’s confidence in the plans of a man but believes and has faith in the Word of God.
This is the way we need to be church. The children of Israel were listening to Joshua but they knew that Joshua was receiving instruction from the Lord. People how many of these kind of leaders do we have today. These are the kind of Pastoral Leaders we need today. People who hear from GOD and complete His instruction willingly and obediently. Where Lord are these people? We need them so much today.
Finally, the children of Israel through the leadership of Joshua, did what they were told and the wall came tumbling down. May the wall come tumbling down in your life today. Amen.
Prayer: Father God, thank you for your Son Jesus that you have made our Commander in Chief, the Chief Shepherd and the Chief Cornerstone of the church. Father as Jesus gives the instruction today to your church let us listen and obey. When the children of Israel obeyed mighty things happened. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). That what happened years ago can and will happen today if we learn to obey Christ. Father let the people have faith in You and Your Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Let what happened in the early church happen today. Help us Lord to believe again. Amen.
2 Corinthians 5:20 New International Version (NIV)
20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
God has made reconciliation through Christ.
Colossians 1:20 Christian Standard Bible (CSB)
20 and through him to reconcile
everything to himself,
whether things on earth or things in heaven,
by making peace
through his blood, shed on the cross.
God brought everything and everybody back to Him by the blood Jesus shed on the cross. The whole was alienated from Him. God desired fellowship with His creation and everything that he made but because of sin there was separation. Now fellowship can take place again if people receive the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. The word of reconciliation has been committed to the ambassadors. The word (the scripture) has been entrusted to faithful and committed people who make every effort to make known God’s love and forgiveness of sins.
God the offended party is seeking reconciliation not the ones who did the offending. It was the love for his enemies that God sought them. God’s love is tremendous. HE wants everyone who will to receive this gospel. The gospel is a life jacket to a drowning person. This world with all its corruption and filth has nothing to offer. The world may try to make sin appealing but in the end it all leads to death. Death for an unbeliever is eternal separation from GOD which is what GOD does not want.
Romans 8:7 Christian Standard Bible (CSB)
7 The mind-set of the flesh is hostile to God because it does not submit to God’s law. Indeed, it is unable to do so.
James 4:4 Christian Standard Bible (CSB)
4 You adulterous people! Don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? So whoever wants to be the friend of the world becomes the enemy of God.
1 John 2:15 Christian Standard Bible (CSB)
A Warning about the World
15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
Jesus in his High Priest role is praying and interceding for people who have not received Him as Lord and Savior. We are all under God’s control and care even if we do not want admit it. The world and the entire universe belongs to God. We are small, weak and frail compared to our GOD. Yet HE is still patient with us. He is giving us chance after chance to receive Him.
Luke 23:34 Christian Standard Bible (CSB)
34 Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, because they do not know what they are doing.”
He is still praying for us even when people lied on Him and had Him crucified for doing what pleased GOD. God’s will was important Jesus and He made sure to do it. He wasn’t worried so much about it fitting in with what the Pharisees and Sadducees did. They were more concerned with position, looking good in front of others, greed and lusting for money. These things were far from Jesus mind. God’s will for Jesus was Him dying on the cross for the sins of people. Jesus paid for sin with His blood. If people receive this, they can have fellowship and be reconciled to the Father which is what Father God wants.
2 Corinthians 5:21 Christian Standard Bible (CSB)
21 He made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Now GOD desires for the world to come to Him. He desires for them to release, turn loose, and repent of sin. He desires his people to made new creatures in Christ Jesus, old things are passed away ( 2 Corinthians 5:17). We are now created in Christ Jesus for good works. Lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and pride of life are not things that we pursue anymore. We are looking for that new heaven and that new earth God promised us.
Revelation 21:1 Christian Standard Bible (CSB)
The New Creation
21 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.
God makes all things new. This is why God is coming after the people that he created because he knows that this world is going to one day pass away and will not be here anymore.
I urge you today if you have not received the Lord Jesus today, change your mind before it is too late. Receive His salvation today. He will help us in this life and in the life to come. There is life after death with Jesus. There is eternal life which is the best life to have. Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!
John 18:38 Common English Bible (CEB)
38 “What is truth?” Pilate asked.
After Pilate said this, he returned to the Jewish leaders and said, “I find no grounds for any charge against him.
And that should have been the end of it but Pilate as he listened to the Jews accusations of Jesus began to care less and less about truth and began worrying about what would happen to him if he didn’t crucify Jesus. When we meet Jesus there are things that we begin to confront in ourselves. Pilate was finding out what kind of person he was in just this short amount of time with Jesus. Pilate was not looking good. This happens to all of us when we are confronted with Jesus. We begin to see those things that Jesus see. If we receive Jesus, we begin working on these things that do not make us look good and pleasing before God what is what he wants us to do. This is the truth people.
People today no longer have a publicly acknowledged standard of truth. Falsehood is proclaimed and eagerly accepted. Why is this? Because falsehood allows things contrary to the truth. If we know truth, then we should follow truth. Jesus is the truth. Listen to Him. Follow Jesus. Listen to the words of the bible and live. These are the words of eternal life.
John 6:54 King James Version (KJV)
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
This is the person who believes and has faith in Jesus atoning sacrifice that He made on the cross. We have life in Him when we do so.
John 6:55-56 Contemporary English Version (CEV)
55 My flesh is the true food, and my blood is the true drink. 56 If you eat my flesh and drink my blood, you are one with me, and I am one with you.
Jesus wants people to come to Him, to believe in Him, and have fellowship with Him. He wants us to confront those things that separate us from God, whatever sins we are participating in, and quit doing them. Jesus will help us deal with our sins. Jesus does not desire sin to have control of you. God’s children are not slaves of the devil.
Romans 6:12-14 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)
12 But don’t let sin control your life here on earth. You must not be ruled by the things your sinful self makes you want to do. 13 Don’t offer the parts of your body to serve sin. Don’t use your bodies to do evil, but offer yourselves to God, as people who have died and now live. Offer the parts of your body to God to be used for doing good.14 Sin will not be your master, because you are not under law. You now live under God’s grace.
Many of the people with Jesus at this time said this was a hard saying.
John 6:60 King James Version (KJV)
60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
It is hard because they would have to learn to live their life a different way. Their life would not be about them anymore, it would be all about God. There would be no fulfilling of the flesh. They would have to learn to live in the Spirit.
John 6:63 King James Version (KJV)
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
We have life, eternal life, when we learn to live this way. You will not be missing anything in this fleshly carnal life. All things will be made new.
Revelation 21:1 Contemporary English Version (CEV)
The New Heaven and the New Earth
21 I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and the first earth had disappeared, and so had the sea.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Contemporary English Version (CEV)
17 Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The past is forgotten, and everything is new.
Oh by the way, this is the truth. It is the truth because it is infallible Word of God. Wikipedia says Biblical infallibility is the belief that what the Bible says regarding matters of faith and Christian practice is wholly useful and true. It is the “belief that the Bible is completely trustworthy as a guide to salvation and the life of faith and will not fail to accomplish its purpose.
God does not fail us. What He promised us shall come to pass. The bible is real and reliable and believable. God is asking us to live a life of faith.
Hebrews 11:1 King James Version (KJV)
11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Proverbs 3:13 Common English Bible (CEB)
Value of wisdom
13 Happy are those who find wisdom
and those who gain understanding.
John 13:17 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)
17 If you know these things, great blessings will be yours if you do them.
When God asks us to do things that we think are hard God wants to do something we can’t. We realize that God is going to have to do this, if He wants this done. We start listening and paying attention waiting for when God wants us act. God wants to use us today church. We exist to please Him and do so gladly. When you realize your life is not your own but belongs to God, God will begin to use you in the earth realm.
God changes our character into His character when we go through difficulties, trials, and tribulations. We seek Him for answers and become more dependent on Him for solutions. Difficulties makes us more like Jesus.
Again this is the truth. Believe and read your bible. Amen!!!!!!!!
Galatians 5:18-25 New International Version (NIV)
18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
Those who have crucified the flesh do not live in the flesh but live in the Spirit. We have crucified our flesh in Christ.
Galatians 5:24 New International Version (NIV)
24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
We are to do this daily. We belong to Christ and our body belong to Christ. We honor Christ in our body by doing those things that are pleasing to Him.
Romans 8:13-14 New International Version (NIV)
13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.
14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.
God’s children live by the Spirit that God has given to us freely. We are His and live a life that is His. Our life is no longer ours. We no longer do what we want to do. We are no longer carnal and doing what the flesh wants to do. We are Spiritual and doing those things that the Spirit of God would have us to to. To live carnally is live a life that leads to death; eternal death, separation from the Father. This kind of living includes sexual immorality and fornication (sex outside of marriage) which is not pleasing to God; debauchery which is habitual and unrestrained lust and sensuality. God is not pleased with this kind of living; having idols (things that take the place of God) are not pleasing to God. Having hatred in our heart, discord (conflict, hostility, and ill will) against people, being jealous against our brothers and sisters and other people and fits of rage against people; God is not pleased with this. God does not like selfish ambition (always looking out for one’s self interests); dissensions (speech inciting people to rebel against God), factions (a small organized dissenting group within politics) and envy (desire to have a quality or possession that someone has), drunkenness (drinking until you have loss self control) orgies and the like (unrestrained sexual activity). These things lead to eternal punishment. If we are caught up in these things then we need to turn which is repent and come back to the Father.
There may be people saying you can live your life any kind of way and still make it into the kingdom of heaven. This is not true. We have to live as we have been told by the bible. The bible leads us to heaven if we follow and keep God’s word.
Revelation 21:27 New International Version (NIV)
27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
God is giving people opportunity now to come to Him for repentance before it is too late. The Lord is coming back for His church.
2 Peter 3:9-10 New International Version (NIV)
9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.
He’s coming back for His church. Those who have heard His words, listened, and prepared themselves for His return will make it to Heaven.
Matthew 25:1-13 New International Version (NIV)
The Parable of the Ten Virgins
25 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’
7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’
9 “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’
10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’
12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’
13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
Don’t be like the ones who cannot enter but be like the ones who were expecting the Lord to come back just like He promised and was ready when He arrived.
Revelation 22:14-16 English Standard Version (ESV)
14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. 15 Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”
God does force his truth on anyone. We are given the choice to receive Him, to receive His salvation. If they wish not to receive the truth God will give them over to their wicked passions.
Romans 1:27-29 King James Version (KJV)
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
If we do not desire the truth God will give us exactly what we desire and we will suffer the consequences of our choice.
Receive God’s salvation today. Receive his forgiveness of sins and live a life in eternity with God instead of living a life tormened in Hell.
Father in Jesus name, I come before you today LORD asking that you be with the people who are bringing forth the word during these wicked times. Father I pray that you give them boldness to witness for you. Let them speak freely and with liberty unashamedly what You have given them. Let them not fear.
Acts 4:29 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)
29 And now, Lord, listen to what they are saying. They are trying to make us afraid. We are your servants. Help us to say what you want us to say without fear.
God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love, and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Father let your preachers and your church be fearless. Let the people of the church be God pleasers and not people pleasers. If we are people pleasers then we care about the opinion of people and will be easily swayed to do things that look good in front of people. God pleasers are more concerned about how they look in front of God and want to be well pleasing to Him.
Father I pray give your preachers, church leaders, and church courage to do what our bible tells us. Father I pray let the preachers and church leaders move forward in the things of God. Father let them be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and move in the direction that God would have them to move in. Father help preachers, church leaders, and your church to follow you Lord no matter what; to surrender and exalt the name of our Lord everywhere we go.
Father help us to love even when we are not shown love. Jesus loves us and our response to the Lord should be to live like Him. The life of Jesus was declared “pleasing” in the sight of God by the Father himself.
Matthew 17:5 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)
5 While Peter was talking, a bright cloud came over them. A voice came from the cloud and said, “This is my Son, the one I love. I am very pleased with him. Obey him!”
Jesus was always completely obedient to the Father. He knew the scripture and obeyed it. During Jesus time here on the earth He touched many lives.

Father GOD as we feel you tugging on us to do something, let us be obedient to You so that You may move in the life of those who need you. Amen!!!!!!!!
18 Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. 19 You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.
Who is like our GOD! Creator and Sustainer of the Universe! Yes HE is! God forgives us when we confess our faults. He does not hold any unforgiveness towards us. He does not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. There is no God like God. HE is God and besides HE there is no other. No one can do what HE can do. Speak this world into existence.
Genesis 1:3 New International Version (NIV)
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
Who else can do this? No one else can. I know we are in the times of scientific thinking and things being proven with scientific evidence but there are just some things beyond our comprehension. There are still some things that the only answer is God. According to scientific evidence, intellect, or people this can’t happen. It is not possible. Well, I’m here to tell you with God, all things are possible. God came to the earth to give us life and life more abundantly.
John 14:1 King James Version (KJV)
14 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
Believe people today. Believe in your God. He makes the impossible possible. Quit looking at your circumstances. God is able to walk into your circumstance and change everything around for you if only you will let Him. He doesn’t force himself into your life. You have to allow Him in. What do you have to loose? Nothing!!!!!!! What do you have to gain? Everything!!!!!!!!!!
Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
If you have to take a chance in something, it may as well be God. The benefits are beyond this world. God will help us in this world and in the world to come.
1 John 2:28-29 New International Version (NIV)
28 And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.
29 If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does what is right has been born of him.
If you know God is faithful and that He helps us currently during these times right now continue with Him. Don’t get distracted on some other teaching that takes you away from Jesus being Lord and Savior. He is both and so much more. He promised to never leave or forsake us. Even in our darkest hour He is there with us. We just have to know this.
Acts 16:25-26 King James Version (KJV)
25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.
When you are in your darkest hour, this is not the time to give up. This is the time when we know what we know and who we know. This is the time when we are suppose to know God is with us and if He is with us, then He will bring us out. What happened in the scripture? There was an earthquake, the foundations of the prison were shaken, and immediately all the doors were opened. Paul and Silas were together praying and singing praises to God. When God’s church ever comes together as one it is mighty and powerful. Things begin to happen that don’t normally happen. God intercedes or intervenes the circumstance or the situation. God makes a way out of no way. How many of us today need God to intervene in their circumstances? Continue with God and watch Him do just that, intervene in your circumstances, and makes sure you receive what you need.
Isaiah 65:24 King James Version (KJV)
24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
He already knows what we need before we ask. He just wants us to put it into words and give it to Him. He so eagerly wants to work on your behalf. He so desires to be apart of your life. He waits for you to invite Him into your life. God has the answer. Your way may seem simpler but God’s way is best. God has already taken all the hard work out of it for you. He has made it simple. He says my yoke is easy and my burden is light (Matthew 11:30). We make things hard when we leave God out of everything. Trust Him today to give you the answers you need to life’s problems. I promise you there is not too much you can surprise God with. His knowledge and wisdom is unlimited. Trust Him today with your life and begin experiencing an anointed life with God. Amen!!!!!!!!!!
Acts 5:20 King James Version (KJV)
20 Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.
The apostles of the new testament were doing the work of God as Jesus commanded before He ascended. People brought their sick unto them, those tormented by impure spirits, and all were healed. The high priest and his associates, who were members of the party the Sadducees were very jealous of the apostles. More and more men and women believed on the Lord and were added on to their number. The high priest and his associates had the Lord, Jesus, crucified, with a sign over his head the read Jesus of Nazareth King of the Jews. The sign is suppose to represent or say the crime they committed. This is the reason they are being crucified. This did not make the high priest and his associates look good at all, crucifying their King. The apostles were not worried about how it made them look. Before Jesus ascended Peter and Jesus had a talk.
John 21:15-17 King James Version (KJV)
15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
Peter was feeding the sheep just like Jesus had asked him. Jesus asked him did he love Him three times. This was to remind Him of the three times he denied Jesus before His crucifixion. Peter was not going to mess up again. Peter had made a commitment to Jesus and he planned on keeping it.
The apostles spoke the all of the gospel. They did not leave certain parts out because it may offend a certain group. If people are truly preaching the gospel, it will offend some people because it will convict you of sin. The high priest and his associates were convicted by the truth of the apostles. They had an innocent man murdered because he went around preaching and teaching the gospel and doing good to all people. The high priest and their associates said Caesar was their King not God. Peter powerful sermon on the day of Pentecost cut the Jews to the heart about their shameful dealings with their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Acts 2:22-23 King James Version (KJV)
22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
The Jews, the high priest and his associates had been wicked. Wicked because they did not receive the truth and wicked because they tried to block others from receiving the truth. They were wicked to the apostles now during their time for having them thrown in jail for preaching the gospel. Nothing was going to stop these apostles from speaking the gospel. How many of us know that if God tells us to do something, He will make sure to move any obstacle or hindrance that gets in the way. We just have to persevere no matter how hard it gets. The apostles had been thrown in jail for doing what the Lord told them to do. This means that the Lord was going to have to get them out and that is exactly what He did.
Acts 5:19-20 New International Version (NIV)
19 But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail and brought them out. 20 “Go, stand in the temple courts,” he said, “and tell the people all about this new life.”
God brought them out of jail and told them to go back to exactly what they were doing before, preaching the gospel.
Acts 5:25-32 New International Version (NIV)
25 Then someone came and said, “Look! The men you put in jail are standing in the temple courts teaching the people.” 26 At that, the captain went with his officers and brought the apostles. They did not use force, because they feared that the people would stone them.
27 The apostles were brought in and made to appear before the Sanhedrin to be questioned by the high priest. 28 “We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name,” he said. “Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man’s blood.”
29 Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings! 30 The God of our ancestors raised Jesus from the dead—whom you killed by hanging him on a cross. 31 God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might bring Israel to repentance and forgive their sins. 32 We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”
Don’t worry about what to say when you are brought up before councils, governors, or kings for Jesus sake. God will give you what to say.
Matthew 10:19 King James Version (KJV)
19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
Peter by the aid of the Holy Spirit spoke boldly to the Sanhedrin. Peter was determined to obey God. God is not teaching us to be unruly and not to disrespect the authorities of the earth but when it gets in the way of the gospel going forth, it is better to “obey God rather than man” (Acts 5:29).
God has asked his church to preach this gospel in season and out of season.
2 Timothy 4:2 King James Version (KJV)
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
Preach all, all of it, not part and not half, old testament and new testament.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 New International Version (NIV)
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
All scripture is good for teaching. Not one part of it is bad. If people think this about the scripture than their must be a sin that people are holding on to and not willing to let go. As Christians we may find ourselves in sin sometimes and will quickly seek repentance from God but we do not live a lifestyle of continual unrepentant sin.
1 John 3:7-10 English Standard Version (ESV)
7 Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. 8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. 9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.
If the scripture convicts us of sin, we need to seek repentance of God and make it right with Him.
There is a penalty for unrepentant sin.
2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 English Standard Version (ESV)
8 in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,
John 3:15-18 English Standard Version (ESV)
15 that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.
16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
Speak the Word and let the Word of God draw those who will come to Him.
Prayer: Father in your Son Jesus name I ask Lord that those who do not know you reading this letter would receive what you so graciously give; eternal life. Father let them realize that the gospel is the truth and God is telling them the Word because He loves them. Father let them know that the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23). There is a penalty for unrepentant sin. Jesus paid this penalty when he died on the cross for our sins. Just receive Jesus payment for sin and begin a new life in Christ today. Just receive and accept Jesus today as Lord and be made a part of his wonderful glorious family.
Have you ever had your mind made up that no matter what someone said you planned on doing what you were thinking. This is the way God wants His people to be. No matter how much the world, society, or the culture tries to make sin appealing and okay, you have your mind made up to follow this bible to the end. We can not be side tracked with the evil pleasures of the world.
James 4:4 New International Version (NIV)
4 You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
No true child of God wants to be His enemy. There is no winning or victory going against God.
Psalm 68:21 New International Version (NIV)
21 Surely God will crush the heads of his enemies,
the hairy crowns of those who go on in their sins.
Isaiah 63:1 1599 Geneva Bible (GNV)
63 1 God shall destroy his enemies for his Church’s sake. 7 God’s benefits toward his Church.
Micah 5:9 New International Version (NIV)
9 Your hand will be lifted up in triumph over your enemies,
and all your foes will be destroyed.
There is no in between, either you are for God or you are against Him. It is best to be with Him.
There are three things we need to stay away from living in this world; the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.
1 John 2:15-17 New International Version (NIV)
On Not Loving the World
15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father[a] is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
The desires of this world bring death; separation from God. People may enjoy worldly pleasures for a short time but that will end and all it will have brought you is heartache, pain, grief, and misery. Do not get caught in the trappings of the world. Stay free from the bondage of sin. Ask God to remove you from those places that may cause you to sin. You may need to change the friends you are associating with. Are they Christians? Are you all headed in the same direction? Are they trying to pull you in a different direction or separate you from God? Good strong Christian fellowship in the life of a Christian is priceless.
Matthew 18:20 King James Version (KJV)
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
You don’t have to have a crowd. If you have two or three people when things get rough for you spiritually you can call and get encouragement or prayer. This is what Christians brothers and sisters do for one another; we encourage and motivate each other to go a little further with Christ. They say, “Hey, don’t give up!!!!!!! God has this and He’s working it out for you!” Believe it!!!!!!!! Are you believing this today? I just want to encourage someone who is reading this. God has this, whatever you are facing or whatever you are going through. Quit wrestling with this situation by yourself and give it over to God. Pray about it and leave it in his hands. God does not want his children anxious or worrying over anything.
1 Peter 5:7 New International Version (NIV)
7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Philippians 4:6-7 New International Version (NIV)
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Believe this!!!!!!! Know this!!!!!!! Don’t let anyone change your mind!!!!!! Amen
Psalm 90:14 New International Version (NIV)
14 Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love,
that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
How many of you out there know that there is something special about spending your mornings with God. When you spend time with Him, it’s like whatever may come your way, it can be handled and dealt with. The most rudest obnoxious person could come before you but because you have spent time with God you can say, “Excuse me sir I didn’t see you there, have a nice day”. You may not have did anything but just so there want be any kind of argument or disagreement you just end it right there kindly and politely. God gives us so much. The scripture says his unfailing love. GOD never fails to give us this. If only we would learn to trust Him. He is always constantly there with his love waiting for us to come to Him. But being human we try to find satisfaction somewhere else; in a pancakes, sausage or bacon breakfast, in the newest song on the billboard charts, in wearing the latest fashion, in driving the latest new vehicle, and in people in your social circle. You do not find what you need because these things can not give you what you need. Only GOD can give you what you need. HE knows you, loves you and cares for you. He wants us living a life waking up in the morning asking God; “Well Lord what is it that you would have me to do today for you?” Everyday should be something new. We have new mercies every morning.
Lamentations 3:22-23 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
22 It is because of the Lord’s mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning; great and abundant is Your stability and faithfulness.
Great is the Lord’s reliability, dependability, and solidity. He is here to satisfy us so that we do not lack the comfort and assurance that being with Him gives. Amen!!!!!!
2 Kings 22:8-13 New International Version (NIV)
8 Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the secretary, “I have found the Book of the Law in the temple of the Lord.” He gave it to Shaphan, who read it. 9 Then Shaphan the secretary went to the king and reported to him: “Your officials have paid out the money that was in the temple of the Lord and have entrusted it to the workers and supervisors at the temple.” 10 Then Shaphan the secretary informed the king, “Hilkiah the priest has given me a book.” And Shaphan read from it in the presence of the king.
11 When the king heard the words of the Book of the Law, he tore his robes. 12 He gave these orders to Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam son of Shaphan, Akbor son of Micaiah, Shaphan the secretary and Asaiah the king’s attendant: 13 “Go and inquire of the Lord for me and for the people and for all Judah about what is written in this book that has been found. Great is the Lord’s anger that burns against us because those who have gone before us have not obeyed the words of this book; they have not acted in accordance with all that is written there concerning us.”
In this scripture today, the Book of the Law has been found. The Book of the Law had been misplaced or hidden so that it could not be read. People before King Josiah who is reigning at this time had been very evil and wicked. King Josiah’s father and grandfather were not very good men. In fact they had been two of the worst kings ever of Judah. They allowed pagan altars, vile things to be dedicated to the goddess Asherah, and ritual prostitution. The culture during this time was very sex obsessed. When the Book of the Law was discovered, it was reported to the King and read in his presence. King Josiah was so moved by the Book of the Law that he tore his robes. He was fearful of the anger of the Lord because they had not obeyed this book. He quickly dismantled what was the accepted practices of the people and reestablished the celebration of the Passover.
2 Kings 23:21-23 New International Version (NIV)
21 The king gave this order to all the people: “Celebrate the Passover to the Lord your God, as it is written in this Book of the Covenant.”22 Neither in the days of the judges who led Israel nor in the days of the kings of Israel and the kings of Judah had any such Passover been observed. 23 But in the eighteenth year of King Josiah, this Passover was celebrated to the Lord in Jerusalem.
King Josiah corrected the past errors of bad kings in his family and started the people correctly on what GOD would have his holy sanctified people to be doing. He did not continue with the wrongdoing of bad leadership but broke away from that which was bad and evil and turned (repented) of the evil (by the tearing of his robes). This is what GOD wants from us. When we realize we have gotten mixed up with something evil or doing something evil but did not realize it at the time but realized it was wrong later, He wants our heart to rend or tear and to turn back to Him. Because a godly leader was now in place, the people would now be listening and following the Book of the Law. They would be God’s holy people once again.
Prayer: Lord let leaders listen to the Book of the Law and let the land return back to holiness in this day and time. Amen!!!!!!!!!
1 Peter 3:17-22 New International Version (NIV)
17 For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. 18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. 19 After being made alive, he went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits— 20 to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, 21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 who has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand—with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him.
Christians living in this world, we will have to go through, if we are going to have to suffer, let us suffer for doing something good instead of evil.
GOD wishes for His church to have mature Christians who can handle going through for Him. He needs people He can make a request and not worry about it getting done because its going to make them look bad or make the wrong impression.
When we become Christians our flesh dies. We do not live to make ourselves look good before other people. That should not be our primary goal. Our primary goal is looking good before Father God. We must realize there are some things that God may ask of us that may make us look a bit crazy to the world. Let us be assured that GOD sees everything and knows everything. We only see and know in part. We believe God will reveal what we need to see and know to perform the task that He is asking of us. We know that God will not lead us astray but will lead us straight to victory every time.
James 1:2-4 New International Version (NIV)
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
Whenever we go through trials and tribulations it builds and strengthens our trust in GOD. This is his goal to have people who know that their GOD is able and can do all things anytime, anywhere. That’s the kind of God we serve. He did it in times of old and He is able to do it during our current present time. Where is your faith church? Nothing is too hard for our GOD. He can handle your tough time. He can handle your situation. Turn it over to Him and wait for Him to answer. Do not doubt that He will answer. Know that it is already dealt with. GOD will be answering you on how to handle your difficult circumstance. How can I be so sure? Because He has done so for me many times before. GOD is a prayer answering God.
Isaiah 65:24 New International Version (NIV)
24 Before they call I will answer;
while they are still speaking I will hear.
John 15:7 New International Version (NIV)
7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
1 John 5:14-15 New International Version (NIV)
14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
Micah 7:7 New International Version (NIV)
7 But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord,
I wait for God my Savior;
my God will hear me.
God will hear and answer your prayer every single time.
1 Kings 17:21-22 New International Version (NIV)
21 Then he stretched himself out on the boy three times and cried out to the Lord, “Lord my God, let this boy’s life return to him!”
22 The Lord heard Elijah’s cry, and the boy’s life returned to him, and he lived.
Prayers are not always just for yourself. Sometimes our prayers need to be for others. We can show God how much faith we have in Him by not worrying about ourselves but praying for those who may not know that God has everything already under control. This is what He’s looking for. People who have prayed believing that God has heard them and is working on their behalf for what they have requested. While we are waiting for an answer to our prayer we begin praying for our brothers and sisters whose faith may not be as strong. We just continue praying believing that God hears the petition and we wait for the outcome of the prayer. We should never pray and think that God has discarded or thrown our prayer to the side as unimportant. All prayers are important to God. Nothing is tossed or thrown to the side. We are respected and loved by GOD. This is what He wants, to spend time with us. He loves us oh so much. He desires fellowship and relationship with His people. He desires to be close to us; not estranged from Him. He does not want us to be afraid to come to Him.
GOD is enthusiastically passionate about His family. He is attached to His loved ones. He cares deeply for His children. When they hurt, HE hurts. He wants to see his children joyful and blessed. He wants to see us enthusiastically passionate about Him; about spending time with Him in prayer, worship, or praise. GOD loves this. He loves it when we excitedly talk about Him to another person. Okay I know Christianity is not very popular right now. GOD loves us still the same. The devil who is full of deceit and lies is cunning and crafty to portray the church misleadingly. Many people can not stand to be seen as anything but a good person but when we are truly submitted unto GOD sometimes the devil will cause the true Christians to look bad. When this happens we just need to continue to trust in the Lord and let Him handle the situation. We will be exonerated and the truth will come shining forth.
Proverbs 4:18 New International Version (NIV)
18 The path of the righteous is like the morning sun,
shining ever brighter till the full light of day.
Daniel 12:3 New International Version (NIV)
3 Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.
Matthew 13:43 New International Version (NIV)
43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.
People don’t be afraid to go through for the Lord. Don’t be afraid to do the things that He asks. Those who are really truly working in God’s kingdom cause great distress to the devil. That is why he causes trouble for you. Just look at the works of Jesus; healing blinded eyes, the lame walking, the dead being raised, healing a withered hand, healing a paralyzed man, healing people with leprosy, restoring a severed ear, and ascension of Jesus into heaven. The devil was really distressed by what Jesus was doing. The devil thought he was getting rid of Jesus when he had him crucified him but Jesus only rose to greater stature and greater glory because he endured the cross. When we go through for GOD, just like with Jesus, that is only going to make us rise to a higher position in God and the church. Jesus trusted that GOD would see Him through and the church needs to trust that GOD will see us through difficult moments also. This is the kind of mindset we as Christians need to have today, whatever we may be facing or whatever we may be going through; believe that GOD will see us through. Amen!!!!!!!!
O Lord My God, My Majestic Savior I come before you yielded Lord to do what you would have me to do and to say Lord what you would have me to say. Lord have your way in my life today and have your way in the world. Lord where people try to censor you and keep you out, I pray Lord that you are able to enter and make yourself known again. I pray Lord that people of different cultures and ethnicities are exposed to the gospel and its truth begins to be buried in their heart. Let the gospel begin to be received today. Let that hard heart be softened. Let where there was resistance before, let their be openness to receive the Words of Truth. Let their be a hunger for the truth of the gospel. Let only God’s Word satisfy that hunger and deep longing that people have. Let people know that there can not be true advancement without the gospel. People can not maneuver around the gospel in education and science. The bible is a historical document. It is filled with places and events that can proved. This is not a book a few men sat down one day and decided to write. The bible is the inspired Word of God.
2 Timothy 3:16 Common English Bible (CEB)
16 Every scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for showing mistakes, for correcting, and for training character,
Where scripture is not allowed or taught people cast off restraint.
Proverbs 29:18 New International Version (NIV)
18 Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint;
but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.
This is what society wants, “anything goes; anything allowed atmosphere”. “Who is to say what we do, say, or think is wrong”. God who made the universe and everything in it including ourselves has the right to tell us what we say, do, or think is wrong.
Lord let us become concerned about what we say, do, or think in front of you. Let us have a mind to want to pleasing before you. Help us to lead people to you and not make them stumble or lead them astray. This I pray to you Lord today. Amen!!!!!!!!!!!
People of the world have questions today. One question they may be asking, “Is it really necessary for people to be holy?” If we belong to God then we are meant to be holy. God has called us to live a life of holiness to Him.
1 Thessalonians 4:7 New Life Version (NLV)
7 For God has not called us to live in sin. He has called us to live a holy life.
This means that you do not live your life like everybody else. You are not looking for ways to gratify fleshly pleasures. GOD is aware of what we need for the day so it should not be first in our mind. We should have such assurance in our GOD that everyone we meet or come in contact with today will be influenced by our GOD. We know this because we wake up every morning with our mind on Jesus. We are not worried about daily tasks, we are not worried about who likes us or not, we are not worried about what’s on the news. All we know is that this is the day that the LORD has made and everything the LORD makes is good. We are not looking for bad things to happen, only good. We are positive people with a good outlook on life. GOD our Father has only good things for His children.
Matthew 7:11 King James Version (KJV)
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
GOD’s children do not ask amiss, knowing the Father and what delights and pleases Him, His children ask just right.
Matthew 21:22 King James Version (KJV)
22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Matthew 7:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
John 8:31 King James Version (KJV)
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
That what we have learned, let us continue. GOD is constantly at work using us to encourage and move people in a the right relationship with Him. GOD is working to move people out of darkness into the marvelous light and away from the influence of Satan. GOD has begun a mighty work with us. People think it has a lot to do with what we say. Sometimes its what we do not say that has more of an impact on people. You may have a reason to argue, fuss and fight but you choose not to. You chose to keep your mouth shut and let God straighten out the mess. The devil loves arguing, bickering and fighting. When we do not follow him, we mess up his plans. Instead of hatred people start loving. A stressful situation becomes less tense. Things return back to normal. All because you decided you were not going to follow behind the devil. Someone was affected. We often think things go unnoticed. Someone watched and saw how you handled a difficult situation in a Christ like manner. Your faith, your belief in GOD touched people. This is what it is all about; getting people to believe in Christ. What should people believe?
- One GOD – There is one GOD composed of three distinct persons; God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- God created the world – Genesis of the bible plainly explains how God spoke this world into existence.
- Jesus, God’s Son – Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and forgiveness of sins. Jesus was crucified, dead, and buried but on the third day, Jesus arose from the dead with all power in his hands and now sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
- The Bible – This is a holy book that contains God inspired Word and is used as a guide for faithful living to God.
- Sin – People are born into sin because of Adam’s disobedience of eating from the tree of knowledge in the garden of Eden. Sin separates people from God. We can only be reconciled back to Father God by the blood of Jesus that washes our sins away.
- Salvation – Repentance of sins, belief in Jesus Christ, his crucifixion, his death, his burial, and his resurrection
- Afterlife – Believe that there is a heaven and a hell. Those who have believed the gospel and received Christ as their Savior go to heaven. Those who have not believed the gospel and rejected Jesus Christ as their Savior go to Hell.
Jesus makes the difference. Christian faith works. People need to see people believing in the Lord and Savior through good and the rough times. He is still God in both. God is there with us through everything. He promised He would never leave or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). His promises are a sure foundation to stand on during tumultuous times. Don’t turn your back on God today. He has not forgotten you. Where is your faith? Amen……………
Father I come before you in Jesus name today asking you LORD to help the United States government. Father YOU are over Presidents and Kings and Prime Ministers. Everything and everybody comes under your great power. Father you have people under your beckon call. You call people and they come unto thee. You make yourself known unto them. You show them your ways and people gladly follow. Father I pray call people out of darkness into the marvelous light. Father help people to realize that they need You. Help them to realize that the life they are living separate from you is not fulfilling. Help them to realize that they need a Savior. Help them to realize that Jesus wants to deliver them from this cold dark world into a place where they are loved and saved. Help them to realize that this world’s way of living is going to one day end. Life as they know it will cease. That what Jesus gives us can never be taken from us. Help the people to see LORD that Jesus life is better and it is forever. You will always be with us LORD through every circumstance and every situation that we face in this life. You are our advocate. You are a strong tower. You are our refuge. You are our everything LORD. We look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Through Jesus we can do everything. Nothing is too hard and nothing is impossible. The world would have you to believe that GOD makes things too hard. This not true. In fact it is the exact opposite. GOD lightens our load.
Psalm 55:22 King James Version (KJV)
22 Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
1 Peter 5:6 King James Version (KJV)
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
Psalm 34:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
Always remember the Lord will never let you down. This is the way the world operates. It makes things look legal and legitimate. It tries to bait you and lure you into something, fake, false and unreal. It will dress it up to look good; to appeal to the eyes; lust of the eyes. Beware church of such things. Always listen to what they are sawing. Never get distracted by the attractiveness of their clothes or appearance.
Matthew 7:15 King James Version (KJV)
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
These kind want to get close to us to drain us of what GOD has given us to serve and worship HIM for their own personal use. The world cannot have what the believers of Christ have. The world cannot steal, rob, plot or scheme to take from the children of GOD. It just wont work.
Isaiah 54:17 New King James Version (NKJV)
17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the Lord.
Father help the church not to be afraid of the arrows by day of the enemy. Help the church to have those shields of faith up. Let those arrows of the enemy bounce off the shields of faith. The snares the enemy has set wont work. GOD will do what He says He will do. GOD is not a man that He should lie. His word will come to pass. Father let the church not worry or be anxious. Let us be ready to move into action as you give the command. The church believes and waits for the confirmation of His Word. AMEN!!!!!!
Isaiah 46:8-11 Good News Translation (GNT)
8 “Remember this, you sinners;
consider what I have done.
9 Remember what happened long ago;
acknowledge that I alone am God
and that there is no one else like me.
10 From the beginning I predicted the outcome;
long ago I foretold what would happen.
I said that my plans would never fail,
that I would do everything I intended to do.
11 I am calling a man to come from the east;
he will swoop down like a hawk
and accomplish what I have planned.
I have spoken, and it will be done.
Remember!!!! Sometimes GOD has to make us recall, recollect, bring a fact, an event, or a situation back into our mind. Return to that what you know is right. Hey!!!!! Snap out of it!!!!! If you are over a group of people, the leader may be saying, “People have we forgotten the rules, the statutes, the mandates, or guidelines that govern us”. “Have we forgotten what made us a group to begin with?” “Have we forgotten who has made us Christians to begin with?” Who are we acting like? Are we acting like people of faith who know a holy GOD? What is acceptable? Where is the standard? Jesus is the standard for Christians. Is it acceptable to Him? If it is not then we need to repent of the folly, repent of the wickedness, repent of the foolishness and get it right with GOD.
Verse 8 says consider what I have done. All that GOD does is good, honorable, ethical, decent, virtuous, dependable, upstanding, noble, admirable, wonderful, superb, delightful, and extremely good. Look at, assess, and review what HE has done. Who has ever come close to doing what GOD has done or is going to do in the future? No one people!!!!!!! We need to remember this and admit the truth there is no one else like HIM.
GOD knows the beginning and HE knows the end. HE even told us so as prophecy in the bible. Just like what HE told us; this is how it is going to come to pass, it is just a matter of time. GOD is going to do everything HE intends. We may as well just get ready for it. HE has spoken it and it shall come to pass.
Genesis 1:3 Good News Translation (GNT)
3 Then God commanded, “Let there be light”—and light appeared.
Genesis 1:9 Good News Translation (GNT)
9 Then God commanded, “Let the water below the sky come together in one place, so that the land will appear”—and it was done.
What is it that you are doubting that will not come to pass in this bible. Is it…….
1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 New King James Version (NKJV)
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Revelation 21:1-4 Good News Translation (GNT)
The New Heaven and the New Earth
21 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and the first earth disappeared, and the sea vanished. 2 And I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared and ready, like a bride dressed to meet her husband. 3 I heard a loud voice speaking from the throne: “Now God’s home is with people! He will live with them, and they shall be his people. God himself will be with them, and he will be their God. 4 He will wipe away all tears from their eyes. There will be no more death, no more grief or crying or pain. The old things have disappeared.”
These things are true people. The bible is fulfilling itself everyday. GOD is faithful and true to fulfill his WORD.
Revelation 22:6-7 Good News Translation (GNT)
6 Then the angel said to me, “These words are true and can be trusted. And the Lord God, who gives his Spirit to the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must happen very soon.”
7 “Listen!” says Jesus. “I am coming soon! Happy are those who obey the prophetic words in this book!”
God had promised Abraham a son by his wife Sarah. Abraham and Sarah were not young anymore and Sarah thought she was barren. She knew of the promise of God to give her a son but she did not believe God and asked Abraham to have children with her Egyptian slave Hagar. Abraham obeyed his wife and had a son, Ishmael, with Sarah’s Egyptian slave. Everything was good for awhile. Then Sarah miraculously becomes pregnant just as God promised her. Sarah has a son and she names him Isaac.
Genesis 21:4-10 New International Reader’s Version (NIRV)
4 When his son Isaac was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him. He did it exactly as God had commanded him. 5 Abraham was 100 years old when his son Isaac was born to him.
6 Sarah said, “God has given laughter to me. Everyone who hears about this will laugh with me.” 7 She also said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would breast-feed children? But I’ve had a son by him when he is old.”
Abraham Sends Hagar and Ishmael Away
8 Isaac grew. The time came for his mother to stop breast-feeding him. On that day Abraham prepared a big celebration. 9 But Sarah saw Ishmael making fun of Isaac. Ishmael was the son Hagar had by Abraham. Hagar was Sarah’s Egyptian slave. 10 Sarah said to Abraham, “Get rid of that slave woman! Get rid of her son! That woman’s son will never have a share of the family’s property. All of it belongs to my son Isaac.”
So Sarah has created a problem because she was not patient to wait on the promise of the Lord. Now she is afraid that this Egyptian woman’s son is going to take Isaac’s rightful inheritance from Abraham and she wants Hagar and Ismael removed from the camp. Abraham becomes upset because of Sarah’s request. God told Abraham not to be upset. That he would make the son of the slave Hagar a nation also because Ishmael was his son as well (Genesis 21:11-13). Abraham did as Sarah requested and sent Hagar and Ishmael into the desert. Hagar began to cry not wanting to see her child die in the desert.
Genesis 21:17-21 New International Reader’s Version (NIRV)
17 God heard the boy crying. Then the angel of God called out to Hagar from heaven. He said to her, “What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid. God has heard the boy crying as he lies there. 18 Lift up the boy and take him by the hand. I will make him into a great nation.”
19 Then God opened Hagar’s eyes, and she saw a well of water. So she went and filled the bottle with water and gave the boy a drink.
20 God was with the boy as he grew up. He lived in the desert and learned to shoot a bow and arrow. 21 While he was living in the Desert of Paran, his mother got a wife for him from Egypt.
I tell you what a mess, but isn’t it good that we have a God who can turn messes into miracles. Sarah who was looking at the physical, her age and Abraham’s age, and not the promise of God, is what began this fiasco in the first place. What do we learn from this? Whatever God promises us it will come to pass. No matter what it looks like. No matter the physical limitations. God does not think the way we think. God sees the big picture. He is looking at things now and He is looking at things in the future. God has a certain time for everything. When God has everything and everybody in place, then that is when your miracle will take place. Sarah should have believed and trusted in God. Not only Sarah but all of us need to believe and trust in God (Yahweh) for his promises to come to past in our life. AMEN!!!!!!!!!
Oh Lord, thank you for this day! Thank you Lord, for how you watch over us and protect and shield us from all hurt, harm and danger. Thank you Lord for
Proverbs 15:3 New International Version (NIV)
3 The eyes of the Lord are everywhere,
keeping watch on the wicked and the good.
Matthew 6:13 New International Version (NIV)
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
Psalm 33:18 New International Version (NIV)
18 But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
on those whose hope is in his unfailing love,
Psalm 66:7 New International Version (NIV)
7 He rules forever by his power,
his eyes watch the nations—
let not the rebellious rise up against him.
God takes care of the rebellious.
Psalm 68:6 New International Version (NIV)
6 God sets the lonely in families,
he leads out the prisoners with singing;
but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.
2 Thessalonians 1:8 New International Version (NIV)
8 He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
Those who love God obey God and will receive their reward.
(Exodus 23:22 NIV) If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you.
(Deuteronomy 12:28 NIV) Be careful to obey all these regulations I am giving you, so that it may always go well with you and your children after you, because you will be doing what is good and right in the eyes of the LORD your God.
Father it is the desire of your children to be pleasing in your eyes. Help us Lord to always have a heart and a mind to do what you will have us to do in the earth. Let us not get side tracked by lust of the eyes, lust of flesh, or the pride of life. Jesus you know what it is like to be tempted.
Hebrews 4:15 New International Version (NIV)
15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.
Lead us around the pitfalls set by Satan. Keep the path clear. Lord lead and guide us in the direction you would have us to go. Keep us to continue to have the same contacts with the people you want us to have contact with. People may change but God never changes. You are the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Thank you Lord for being a constant friend and constant companion during turbulent and wicked times.
Daniel 12:3 Contemporary English Version (CEV)
3 Everyone who has been wise will shine as bright as the sky above, and everyone who has led others to please God will shine like the stars.
This is pray in Jesus name. Amen!!!!!!!!
It is always good to feel like you are apart of something. It is especially good to feel like you are apart of the church. The place GOD created for those who needed somewhere to find comfort, love and unity with other believers and a place to convert unbelievers to faith in Jesus Christ. Once we have been received a new life begins for the believer. The old life is not remembered. We now have constant help in our new life with God; Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Not to say it want get rough sometimes. The bible says
1 Peter 5:8 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
8 Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.
We need to be temperate—–levelheaded, restrained, self controlled, composed, stable, modest, reasonable, and steady at all times. We need to be sober of mind—— clearheaded, abstaining, calm, restrained, and tame, disciplined, and tranquil.
The devil will try to make you everything but this. He will try to agitate, make life unbearable, harsh, oppressive, unsatisfactory, heartbreaking, and miserable. That’s why the Word of God must constantly be on our mind 24/7. We must remember that if we want to overcome the temptations and attacks of Satan we must know and use the Word of God. Always be ready to use the Word of God as a weapon against the enemy. The Word of God is our sword. We can use the sword defensively and offensively. When presented defensively the Bible’s message can free ourselves and others from spiritual bondage to Satan. When presented offensively it can demolish strongholds of error and falsehood.
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
4 For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds,
5 [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),
The more we know and understand God’s Word, the more useful we will be to GOD in the earth realm and a greater threat to the enemy the devil. God took care of the serpent the devil in the garden.
Genesis 3:14-15 New International Version (NIV)
14 So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this,
“Cursed are you above all livestock
and all wild animals!
You will crawl on your belly
and you will eat dust
all the days of your life.
15 And I will put enmity
between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and hers;
he will crush your head,
and you will strike his heel.”
The seed of the woman, Jesus Christ (Messiah) took care of the devil. He bruised the head of the old serpent the devil, that is, destroyed him and all his principalities and powers, broke and confound all his schemes, and ruined all his works, crushed his whole empire, stripped him of his authority and sovereignty, and particularly of his power over death, and his tyranny over the bodies and souls of men; all which is done by Christ, (Gill’s Exposition).
GOD has broken the power of the devil and made him subservient to us the church. Know this and take your place over the devil today. Stop his tyranny in your life. Hallelujah!!!! Put him in his place; under your feet.
Luke 10:18-19 American Standard Version (ASV)
18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan fallen as lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you.
What kind of love is God asking of His church today?
Matthew 22:37-40 New International Version (NIV)
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
This seem simple enough but Jesus was judged terribly by religious leaders of His day when He demonstrated this kind of love.
Mark 2:13-17 New International Version (NIV)
13 Once again Jesus went out beside the lake. A large crowd came to him, and he began to teach them. 14 As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,”Jesus told him, and Levi got up and followed him.
15 While Jesus was having dinner at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. 16 When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
There is no legalism with this kind of love. It is straightforward and direct not external and pious. Everything the Pharisees do is for the people to see.
Matthew 23:5-13 New International Version (NIV)
5 “Everything they do is done for people to see: They make their phylacteries[a] wide and the tassels on their garments long; 6 they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; 7 they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called ‘Rabbi’ by others.
8 “But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. 9 And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. 10 Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah. 11 The greatest among you will be your servant. 12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
13 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.
They watched Jesus to have something to accuse Him. They could only accuse Him of loving His neighbor just as the LORD has asked. Jesus taught the people correctly and demonstrated with action. This infuriated the religious leaders because they did not have the influence that Jesus did. Jesus continued to love. He loved everyone, including His enemies the Romans.
Luke 7:1-10 English Standard Version (ESV)
Jesus Heals a Centurion’s Servant
7 After he had finished all his sayings in the hearing of the people, he entered Capernaum. 2 Now a centurion had a servant who was sick and at the point of death, who was highly valued by him. 3 When the centurion heard about Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, asking him to come and heal his servant. 4 And when they came to Jesus, they pleaded with him earnestly, saying, “He is worthy to have you do this for him, 5 for he loves our nation, and he is the one who built us our synagogue.” 6 And Jesus went with them. When he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to him, “Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. 7 Therefore I did not presume to come to you. But say the word, and let my servant be healed. 8 For I too am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me: and I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” 9 When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turning to the crowd that followed him, said, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.” 10 And when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the servant well.
Jesus is love not hate. His love spreads to every person and every nation. Trust God today to hear your prayer when you pray according to His Word and to His Way which is Jesus, AMEN!!!!!!!!!!
Heavenly Father we come together boldly before your throne in Jesus name today. Father help us to be pleasing in your sight and help us to be in agreement for what you desire to accomplish in the earth realm. Father I pray help us to love as you have commanded us. Lord people seem to know just the right buttons to irritate us and make us angry. Father help us to pick up on those signals of when someone is being cunning and conniving and to put a stop to their trickery. The devil thinks he is smart but we know our God is smarter. Help us Lord not to get annoyed but to continue with your godly agenda for the people of God. Father let the people of God not waver or doubt what you have in store for your people. Father I pray bring clarity to those who have run into underhanded schemes of the enemy. Let the enemy be uncovered and exposed in its deception to the Christian people. Anything that is not like Jesus in the sheepfold let it be known. Wolves in sheep clothing Lord, let them be exposed; hidden plots let them be exposed, all craftiness and guile be exposed and stopped in Jesus name. Amen!!!!!!!
GOD intended for His children to have freedom in Jesus Christ and not be lead astray believing they have to follow certain religious traditions. Remember this is what confused the Pharisees.
Mark 7:8-9 New International Version (NIV)
8 You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.”
9 And he continued, “You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!
What the religious leaders did during Jesus time was put on a great show. It looked holy and it sounded holy but it was not holy at all because their heart was far from GOD. They became more concerned with the external, the things that could be seen and observed by the people, than really being holy. They were concerned with washing their hands before they ate bread, the thoughts of a large group of of men, touched by common people, and the washing of cups and pots, vessels, and tables. This is what they taught the people; not the commandments of the bible which were far more important. They exalt and praise highly the opinions of people instead of the scripture. What gives us salvation and eternal life? Jesus!!!! Did they recognize Jesus? Did they acknowledge Jesus? Only when the people began to acknowledge and proclaim Him the Messiah did they begin to think there may be something to this; then they became worried. They were anxious because they believed no one would listen to them anymore and they would loose their control over the people. The Pharisees then decided they had to get rid of Jesus permanently. Jesus was rightly guiding the people to salvation. Something the Pharisees should have been doing instead of taking advantage of the people for their own wealthy gain. Does this sound familiar? People of GOD do not be fooled by imitators. The bible says to test or try the spirit to know that it is from GOD.
1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world. (Berean Study Bible; 1 John 4:1)
Do not be fooled by their holy dress and holy talk. What kind of fruit is this person producing?
Matthew 7:16-20 King James Version (KJV)
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
A good person is known for the good teaching they bring. It is sound doctrine and can be completely supported by scripture. It is not just the mere opinions of people held in high regard of society but the teachings of God. Who can disagree with that? It is truth for living. GOD’s holy scriptures teach us how to live a holy Christian life. It is the book we should be living by.
John 6:45 King James Version (KJV)
45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
True teaching brings people to Jesus Christ. Good and true teaching instructs people on how to be pleasing to GOD.
1 Thessalonians 4:1-5 King James Version (KJV)
4 Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.
2 For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.
3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:
The gospel is going to look different and sound different from the world. GOD is not going to accept or allow anything different from His holy teachings.
Jesus has already fulfilled GOD’s commands. All we need to do is receive JESUS!!!! Don’t reject Him like the Pharisees but accept Him and invite Him permanently into your life. Don’t pretend to be holy but be really holy with evidence of the Holy Spirit of God. This is what GOD really wants today; true believers, true Christians who trust Him no matter what. Receive Jesus today and become part of the family of GOD. Amen!!!!!!!
The world is living like Jesus is not coming back one day to judge the world for the wrong they have done. In their mind Jesus is gone so now they can party and live any kind of way they want. This is not true. People will be asked to give account for the way they have lived in this world.
Matthew 25:1-13 New King James Version (NKJV)
The Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins
25 “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
6 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ 7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.
11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour[b] in which the Son of Man is coming.
Jesus is coming back. Be ready for His return. Have yourself together. Let your lamps be full of oil and be ready to leave with Him when He comes to you.
Matthew 5:16 King James Version (KJV)
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Let their be not a question of whose side you are own. People know you are a Christian by your conversation and by the way you carry yourself. What is Jesus going to find at His return?
Revelation 22:11 King James Version (KJV)
11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
Those who are living for Jesus continue to live for Jesus. Jesus is going to return like a thief in the night.
1 Thessalonians 5:2-4 Common English Bible (CEB)
2 You know very well that the day of the Lord is going to come like a thief in the night. 3 When they are saying, “There is peace and security,” at that time sudden destruction will attack them, like labor pains start with a pregnant woman, and they definitely won’t escape.4 But you aren’t in darkness, brothers and sisters, so the day won’t catch you by surprise like a thief.
Be ready for Jesus return!!!!!!!!!
Hey everybody!!! How many of you know today that this world will try to trick you to believe that only this world can give you physically what you need. Food, water, clothes, and all material things. GOD (Yahweh) is GOD in this physical world and HE is GOD in the spiritual world. GOD rules and reigns over everything and everybody. No one has to sell out to the world’s way of doing things to get what they need. Continue relying on GOD and HE will get you what you need when you need it. The devil loves to try to intimidate, frighten and terrify the people of GOD. Don’t back down but stand your ground. When he finds out he can’t boss or bully you around, he will leave you alone. Those who are in GOD are stronger and mightier than the devil.
2 Chronicles 32:2-8 New International Version (NIV)
2 When Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib had come and that he intended to wage war against Jerusalem, 3 he consulted with his officials and military staff about blocking off the water from the springs outside the city, and they helped him. 4 They gathered a large group of people who blocked all the springs and the stream that flowed through the land. “Why should the kings of Assyria come and find plenty of water?” they said. 5 Then he worked hard repairing all the broken sections of the wall and building towers on it. He built another wall outside that one and reinforced the terraces of the City of David. He also made large numbers of weapons and shields.
6 He appointed military officers over the people and assembled them before him in the square at the city gate and encouraged them with these words: 7 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. 8 With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said.
King Hezekiah did not fear Sennacherib. He did not give up when he saw this huge and immense army against him. He stood firm and believed that His GOD (Yahweh) would bring this army down. He did not know how HE was going to do it but he just knew GOD was going to do it. That is the way we have to be. We don’t know how HE is going to do it but we know that our GOD will not let us down. The children of GOD never give up. No matter what the circumstance or situation. Our GOD makes a way every single time.
2 Chronicles 32:16-22 New International Version (NIV)
16 Sennacherib’s officers spoke further against the Lord God and against his servant Hezekiah. 17 The king also wrote letters ridiculingthe Lord, the God of Israel, and saying this against him: “Just as the gods of the peoples of the other lands did not rescue their people from my hand, so the god of Hezekiah will not rescue his people from my hand.” 18 Then they called out in Hebrew to the people of Jerusalem who were on the wall, to terrify them and make them afraid in order to capture the city. 19 They spoke about the God of Jerusalem as they did about the gods of the other peoples of the world—the work of human hands.
20 King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz cried out in prayer to heaven about this. 21 And the Lord sent an angel, who annihilated all the fighting men and the commanders and officers in the camp of the Assyrian king. So he withdrew to his own land in disgrace. And when he went into the temple of his god, some of his sons, his own flesh and blood, cut him down with the sword.
22 So the Lord saved Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib king of Assyria and from the hand of all others. He took care of them on every side.
It may get real nasty before it gets better but continue to stand your ground. The devil will try all his plots and schemes before he gives up. The scripture says King Hezekiah and Prophet Isaiah cried out in prayer. The LORD heard their prayer and answered it. Sennacherib’s great immense army was defeated and Sennacherib returned to his own land ashamed and embarrassed. That’s what will happen to people for messing with the people of God. They will be embarrassed and humiliated for ever bothering with GOD’s holy people. Don’t fret, don’t worry, and don’t fear. GOD has final say about whatever is going on with you. The devil does not give any orders around here. Continue standing your ground in GOD. GOD will humiliate the enemy and they will learn to leave the people of GOD alone. Amen!!!!!!!!
I love this and just had to share it with you today. Do we know who we serve today people of GOD (Yahweh). Listen to this and get to know who is worthy of your praise!!!!!
GOD is love. Love is GOD. Love is Jesus. Jesus is the fulfillment of GOD’s love toward us.
Who can disagree with this? How else can we love people who hate and mistreat us if it were not for the love of God.
2 John 4 New International Version (NIV)
4 It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us.
Those who know the truth follow and obey it. What is truth you may ask? The truth is that GOD (Yahweh) has commanded us to love.
John 13:34-35 New International Version (NIV)
34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
His commandment to love leads to eternal life with HIM.
John 12:49-50 New International Version (NIV)
49 For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken. 50 I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.”
God commands obedience from the family of believers. Love and obedience are rewarded.
Deuteronomy 28:1 New King James Version (NKJV)
28 “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.
People know we are Christians by the willingness we have to obey our GOD and the love we have for others.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 New International Version (NIV)
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails.
Now that the love of GOD (Jesus) has entered the world we can love our neighbors more fully. GOD is commanding us to love. Love like Jesus loved; unconditionally. Just love!!!! Amen!!!!
Hey everyone! I am back praise God! Did you miss me? It’s good to be back doing the things I love, which is blogging and spreading the gospel through the internet. I get such a joy spreading the good news about Jesus. It is good news you know, not bad. The world may try to make it seem bad but it is not bad at all. It is actually good and very good at that. Anything that saves us from a life of torment, misery and pain is good. There may be some people out there who say this is not true. There may be some people who say there life is very good and you know looking from the outside it may look very good. They may live in a big fancy home with a brand new mercedes in their driveway. But how many of us know that looks can be deceiving. GOD sees the material things but HE also sees behind closed doors. GOD sees and knows everything about us. HE sees the false facade that people put on in public. Laughing on the outside but truly miserable on the inside. Only God can give us that true joy that bubbles up inside and comes out in loud boisterous laughter. What the Lord has given us the world can’t take it away. The world does not understand. The world does not get it. The world says, huh? GOD (Yahweh) gives us joy, unspeakable joy and this is the most wonderful feeling in the world. People do not have to pretend to be something they are not. We are free to be who GOD made us and do this unashamedly. I am not ashamed of my GOD and HE is not ashamed of me. I need Jesus. I depend on Him for everything like a sheep depends on the shepherd. He leadeth me beside the still waters.
Psalm 23:1-5 New International Version (NIV)
A psalm of David.
1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,[a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Who wouldn’t serve a God like this? God is good and his mercy endureth forever. Oh give thanks unto the Lord for His great mercy (Psalm 136). We were all a wretch undone, miserable and unhappy but God had mercy on us. He had compassion on us when others would have simply given up and be done with us. GOD cares for us. GOD loves us. Nobody loves you the way Jesus loves you. He knows everything about you but still loves you. HE loves you too much to let you live a life that HE knows will end in tragedy. Separate from GOD, there is no life. GOD (Yahweh) gives meaning and purpose to your life.
When things get turbulent in your life, GOD (Yahweh) will bring calmness.
Mark 4:38-40 King James Version (KJV)
38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
Where is your faith Christians? Christians belong to God and God belongs to us. Anything we ask according to His will we shall receive.
1 John 5:14-15 New International Version (NIV)
14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
This is the key point we must ask according to His will; not our own. Our prayers should not be centered on material things. GOD knows what we have need of even before we ask. He knows us better than we know our ourselves. Believe it or not some of the things we pray and ask GOD we truly do not need but we keep asking for it. In our minds we believe this is right but it is not what GOD has in mind for us. Our prayer for ourselves should be, “LORD let me become what you would have me to become”. You would be amazed at the things that start coming in your life if you prayed this prayer. Ask God to let you know who is for you and who is against you. Ask HIM who you should let in your life and who should show the door. There may be people in your life right now who are detrimental to the plan GOD has for you. Ask GOD to reveal who these people are and put them far from you. Let only those who share your goals and aspirations close to you. Let nothing or no one interfere with the plan GOD has for your life. Ask God to remove manipulative people from your life. Ask GOD to remove people who only want to tempt you to leave JESUS and join the world. These people are not for you. We do not even think the same as these people. Christian people have different priorities than worldly people. A Christian’s goal is to live a life pleasing to GOD. Worldly people live a life pleasing to themselves. They could care less about what GOD wants or desires. Worldly people only care about things in this life; not the life to come after death. Many believe that when you die; that is it but that is just the beginning. Many will tell you there is no GOD but we know that is a lie from the pit of Hell. Yes there is GOD! HE has an anointed Son named Jesus Christ whom HE sent in the flesh to the earth to defeat our enemy Satan. After the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus, He ascended back into heaven and God sent us the Holy Spirit to comfort, lead, guide and teach us all things.
John 14:26 American Standard Version (ASV)
26 But the Comforter, even the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said unto you.
Those who are of GOD know the truth. Continue to know the truth. Do not be lead astray by religious leaders that water down the gospel. Demand the truth. Jesus is the truth and all that He stands for. The flock of GOD deserve nothing less. The truth, Jesus, is what heals us and sets us free. GOD’s way, Jesus Christ; GOD’s anointed Son, leads to life while the world’s way, Satan, leads to death. GOD’s way is much better. Not to say you will not have your moments but GOD will see you through every time. You are never alone as long as you have God in your life. Amen!!!!!
Just letting the people who follow my website know that I am still doing it. I’m just our for a little while due to illness. Please continue to follow my website. I hope to return soon.
We should give God thanks in all things. HE loves us and makes things happen for us. Whenever we leave God out of the equation we are heading for disaster. Every good gift comes from up above (James 1:17). Our spouse, husband or wife, our occupation, and our children all come from God (Yahweh). Many people give themselves all the honor. I did this all by myself. I got this promotion all by myself. I got this man all by myself. Ladies you can’t say you got these children all by yourself, a man played a role in that also (Laugh). The point is that on this life’s journey we are going to need help to get things accomplished. The help that we should be looking for is godly help. Help with no strings attached. We do not want help like “do this for me and I’ll do this for you”. The help that God gives us sets us free not entraps us. The devil wants to get you in a snare with his help. That’s why we need to give God thanks. His help, his love, sets us free. Hallelujah! His love replaces what is lacking. His love makes us strong and mighty. His love makes a way when there is no way. His love connects and builds up what the devil has tried to divide and conquer. Jesus is our conqueror. We have the victory in Jesus. Victory in Jesus! Victory in Jesus! Thank God for Jesus! Victory through the blood of the Lamb. Death has no hold on us. We have been set free from the bondage of death. We give God thanks for this.
We give thanks unto Him because He is good.
Psalm 118:29 New International Version (NIV)
29 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever.
We thank Him for making our salvation sure. Salvation is nothing that we can earn. We receive it through faith in Jesus Christ.
Galatians 2:16 New International Version (NIV)
16 know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.
We thank God for His bible that gives us great comfort through times of testing and trying of our faith.
Hebrews 4:12 Common English Bible (CEB)
12 because God’s word is living, active, and sharper than any two-edged sword. It penetrates to the point that it separates the soul from the spirit and the joints from the marrow. It’s able to judge the heart’s thoughts and intentions.
We thank God for the answer to any problem or challenge we may face. The answer is in your Word. We have nothing to fear. We only need to look unto Jesus for all that we need. We thank you God for this!
Let us remember where our real true help comes from and to give Him thanks in all things and in all times. Amen. Happy Thanksgiving.
There is always a constant battle between good and evil. Evil would like good to disappear so it could have freedom to cause confusion and discord but as long as good is around there will be no confusion and there will be no discord. God who represents everything good will always ruin everything the devil tries to contaminate or intimidate. God’s shining truth will always be victorious over all deceptions of the devil. The devil must like getting his butt kicked because God does this to him every time he messes with God’s people. God has a hedge of protection around his people.
Job 1:10 New International Version (NIV)
10 “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land.
This is the devil talking to God. He was watching Job and became jealous of how faithful Job was to God; how he feared God and persistently rejected evil. What about you? Does the devil enviously watch you please Father God each and every day of your life. Does the devil have something to complain about you? Depending on the circumstance it may be good that somebody is saying negative things about you. If a person is saying all they ever talk about is God and no juicy gossip that is good. If someone shows patience and kindness to someone who may be very difficult and not meanness that is good. If you have an active prayer life and seek God’s good advice first about everything that is a good thing. What can the devil complain about you today?
Job 1:11-12 New International Version (NIV)
11 But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.”
12 The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.”
The devil thought Job loved God because of the material wealth God allowed Him to have. He thought if he removed things, items, or possessions from him, he would curse God to his face. Job didn’t love God because of his possessions. Job loved God for being God. This he proved during this test.
Job 1:21 King James Version (KJV)
21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
How would you do in this test? Do you love God for what HE can give you or do you love HIM for HIM? God may test all of us this way one day. Our reply should be that we love God for being God and not for the material things HE can give us, Amen.
Father in Jesus name we boldly come before your throne with petitions and requests knowing that you have the power and authority to make all things right. We thank you Lord that you never leave us alone. You are never tiresome of us. You always have time to listen to us. Our problems are never too small or too large for you. My God can handle it all in His infinite wisdom, knowledge and understanding.
Father we thank you for your Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit interceding on our behalf.
Romans 8:26 New International Version (NIV)
26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.
Hebrews 7:24-26 New International Version (NIV)
24 but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood.25 Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
26 Such a high priest truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens.
We thank you Lord that you let nothing block your Word from taking root in our heart and allowing to bring a harvest of thirty fold, sixty fold and a hundred fold (Matthew 13:8). Your Word is truth and accomplishes what you send it to do.
Isaiah 55:11 King James Version (KJV)
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Thank you Lord for removing obstacles.
Isaiah 57:14 New International Version (NIV)
Comfort for the Contrite
14 And it will be said:
“Build up, build up, prepare the road!
Remove the obstacles out of the way of my people.”
We thank you Lord that what you have given us no one can take it away or remove it from us. It is forever ours. We thank you Lord for what you have freely given us. We thank you Lord there is no deception, we thank you Lord there are no strings attached. Freely given and freely received from the Lord today. Father I thank you for uncovering the work of the devil and destroying his schemes and manipulations. You know all and see all God. I trust totally in your judgement knowing that you always work things out for my good. Thank you Lord for quieting those who say belief and faith in you Lord is a problem. You tell us Lord in the bible to have faith. “Without faith it is impossible to please him. If we are to draw near to God then we must believe that he exists and he rewards those who earnestly seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). ” Christians are not looking for anything from the world or people but God has promised to give us everything we need.
Matthew 6:8 New International Version (NIV)
8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
Matthew 6:32 New International Version (NIV)
32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them
Lord not only will you give us what we need but you will give us the desires of your heart.
Psalm 37:4 New International Version (NIV)
4 Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Father God you are our delight. Thank you Lord that we find joy and happiness in your Word. Your commands are not burdensome (1 John 5:3). We do them with gladness because you love us and we love you.
Lord let what you have planned for today take place according to your Word. In your Son Jesus name I pray. Amen!!!!!!!!
Isaiah 30:21 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
21 And your ears will hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way; walk in it, when you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left.
There is a confused culture looking for answers in all the wrong places. They are looking for financial stability, job security, education and crime reduction in this earthly government. This world can not promise us anything because this world is temporary. Earthly promises are short lived and a person’s word can change quickly and rapidly. So where is a person to look for solid information that is constantly not changing and is totally reliable. The bible is the answer. The bible’s words gives us stability during troublesome times. When we have a concern or fear we should look for an answer in God’s bible. When we run into a roadblock, when people try to block our way, we go to God (Yahweh) in prayer and ask Him for His direction and guidance on how to deal with what has come before us. Then we learn to listen for His answer. God speaks to us through different ways: the bible, people, television, radio, billboards.
John 10:27 New King James Version (NKJV)
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
Christians know this is God talking because an undeniable calmness and tranquility comes with God’s Word. The words received are the perfect antidote to the situation. No one but God can completely understand your circumstance and no one but Him can give you the outcome you so desperately need. For those who are concerned that Trump is our new president, do not fear. The same God (Yahweh) that took care of you when Obama was in office is the same God that will take care of you now. God takes care of what belongs to Him. You can believe that. Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well people how many of us know that God is a giver of good. When we wait upon Him, we can expect to receive good from His hand. He is not going to give us anything that will hurt or harm us. God loves us and wants to see that we are well provided and cared for. Some of us can not wait on the goodness of Jesus and we go out and try to find our own good making a mess in the process. God has promised good unto us. His Word is true and reliable. His Word my hope secures (Amazing Grace). Hope is fastened, chained, sealed, and fortified in Jesus. Jesus is good. His Word is good. His Word is sweet like bread. To the Israelites bread came to mean life and sustenance. Bread was needed to sustain life. Jesus is needed to sustain spiritual life. Jesus gives us eternal life with the Father. God (Yahweh) is a giver of all good things.
- He gives life.
John 6:33 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
33 For the bread of God is the One who comes down from heaven and gives life to the w4orld.”
- He gives wisdom.
Proverbs 2:6 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
6 For the Lord gives wisdom;
from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.
3. He gives us victory.
1 Corinthians 15:57 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory
through our Lord Jesus Christ!
4. He gives us the Holy Spirit.
1 Thessalonians 4:8 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
8 Therefore, the person who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who also gives you His Holy Spirit.
5. He gives us a heart to know Him.
Jeremiah 24:7 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
7 I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am Yahweh. They will be My people, and I will be their God because they will return to Me with all their heart.
6. He gives beauty for ashes, oil of joy for those that mourn, garments of praise
Isaiah 61:3 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
3 to provide for those who mourn in Zion;
to give them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
festive oil instead of mourning,
and splendid clothes instead of despair.
And they will be called righteous trees,
planted by the Lord
to glorify Him.
7. He gives us the desires of our heart.
Psalm 37:4 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
4 Take delight in the Lord,
and He will give you your heart’s desires.
8. He gives us the promise that He will give.
Leviticus 25:38 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
38 I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan and to be your God.
9. Finally, He gives us what is good.
Psalm 85:12 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
12 Also, the Lord will provide what is good,
and our land will yield its crops.
Hello people, how are you today? I would like to talk to you today about how GOD is not changing while the world is changing. The world changes with seasons and trends but our GOD remains the same. This is not a bad thing. This is a good thing. When we need our GOD we know where HE is and how to contact HIM. His home is heaven and we contact HIM by prayer.
Hebrews 13:8 New International Version (NIV)
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
When things are constantly changing, people begin to think was this true to begin with. With GOD the church’s teachings are built upon the bible, scripture, which is a sure thing in the life of the believer. Be sure your faith is in the correct GOD today and not something fabricated or made up. The bible is a measuring stick for truth. The culture we live in today challenges the truth of the bible because it is opposite of how the world thinks and acts. GOD’s way is the correct way and HIS WORD is truth.
Psalm 119:160 New International Version (NIV)
160 All your words are true;
all your righteous laws are eternal.
John 17:17 New International Version (NIV)
17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.
Ephesians 1:13-14 New International Version (NIV)
13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.
James 1:18 New International Version (NIV)
18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.
GOD will lead us into truth if we allow HIM.
John 16:13-14 Contemporary English Version (CEV)
13 The Spirit shows what is true and will come and guide you into the full truth. The Spirit doesn’t speak on his own. He will tell you only what he has heard from me, and he will let you know what is going to happen. 14 The Spirit will bring glory to me by taking my message and telling it to you.
This is bring us unto JESUS who is the truth.
John 14:6 King James Version (KJV)
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jesus takes us on in to Father GOD Yahweh where we will live eternally with HIM. Jesus is the way. Jesus will always be the way. This will never change. There is no other way into heaven. We must go through Jesus and the cross.
Believe in Jesus today. Receive His sacrifice today that He made on the cross for your sins. Jesus is real. Father GOD Yahweh is real. The Holy Spirit is real. No one is lying to you. Receive salvation today from Jesus Christ and receive reservations in heaven. Amen!!!!!!
The Christian life is different from worldly living or it is suppose to be. Sometimes its hard to tell. It appears as though the church is pursuing the same things the world is pursuing. People want things that GOD didn’t give them. Let me tell you right now; if GOD didn’t give it to you, whatever it is, it want last. It want bring you joy or fulfillment, it will only bring you heartache and pain. We are always coveting what someone else has. Quit wanting what someone else has and ask GOD what does he want you to have. Everyone has different assignments in the church. GOD gives us what we need to complete our assignment. We live for GOD not for ourselves. Life and breath in our body comes from HIM today. You might not acknowledge it but it is the truth. GOD holds our life in HIS hands. HE and only HE is LORD. Can’t no one take HIS place. No other God can do what HE can do. There is no other GOD. GOD is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Quit worshiping these things that do not have life; inanimate objects. Jesus was crucified, dead, and buried. He was dead for three days. Father God (Yahweh) raised Jesus from the dead just like HE said HE would. JESUS now sits on the right hand of GOD the Father Almighty. He will come back to the earth to judge the quick and the dead. There is life in Jesus today, in this world and in the world to come. Be ready when Jesus comes back. Pursue those things that are important to GOD today.
Matthew 5:3-12 New International Version (NIV)
3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Poor maybe in those things that the world has but rich in the things of God. No fame or great wealth but may have a loving faithful spouse, food to eat, a nice vehicle; not a mercedes benz, rolls royce, or porsche; a nice home, not a mansion; nice clothes, not name brand fashionable clothes, and money to pay bills and have money left over. This is rich people in GOD. Receive and accept this. This is real living.
People who mourn over wrong they have done and truly seek repentance from GOD. They turn from the wickedness they have committed and give their life over to GOD. This is what GOD wants. This is what GOD desires true repentance.
The meek are gentle and easy to forgive those who have done them wrong. They let GOD deal with their enemies and continue to be Christians. God does deal with enemies. It may appear HE does not but HE does. He gives the enemy a chance to repent. GOD is a just GOD. GOD is merciful. HE does not give us what we deserve but HE gives us a chance to make it right with HIM. If we do not repent after a time of grace then punishment comes from HIM. GOD is just like a Father punishing disobedient children who can’t do what they are told.
The pure in heart are upstanding, decent, good, right minded. Their motives and intents are free from manipulations and wickedness. They stay in line with what GOD says. It is revealed in the their outward actions toward other people. This is plainly seen. This is what GOD wants from HIS people.
GOD wants his people to be peacemakers. He wants us to get along with other people. Peacemakers actions prevent hostility, friction, and hatred. Peacemakers desire people who have broken apart because of misunderstanding, wrong words and actions, to come together again. Peacemakers do not like schisms in the church, the work place, or any place for that matter.
Nobody likes to be teased, poked fun at, or laughed at because of their faith in Christ but because this world is not our home we will have to endure some things that are uncomfortable at times. Do not focus on them but always keep your mind fixed on Christ.
2 Timothy 4:18 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work and will preserve me unto His heavenly Kingdom, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
