Galatians 5:18-25 New International Version (NIV)

18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.

Those who have crucified the flesh do not live in the flesh but live in the Spirit. We have crucified our flesh in Christ.

Galatians 5:24 New International Version (NIV)

24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

We are to do this daily. We belong to Christ and our body belong to Christ. We honor Christ in our body by doing those things that are pleasing to Him.

Romans 8:13-14 New International Version (NIV)

13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

God’s children live by the Spirit that God has given to us freely. We are His and live a life that is His. Our life is no longer ours. We no longer do what we want to do. We are no longer carnal and doing what the flesh wants to do. We are Spiritual and doing those things that the Spirit of God would have us to to. To live carnally is live a life that leads to death; eternal death, separation from the Father. This kind of living includes sexual immorality and fornication (sex outside of marriage) which is not pleasing to God; debauchery which is habitual and unrestrained  lust and sensuality. God is not pleased with this kind of living; having idols (things that take the place of God) are not pleasing to God. Having hatred in our heart, discord (conflict, hostility, and ill will) against people, being jealous against our brothers and sisters and other people and fits of rage against people; God is not pleased with this. God does not like selfish ambition (always looking out for one’s self interests); dissensions (speech inciting people to rebel against God), factions (a small organized dissenting group within politics) and envy (desire to have a quality or possession that someone has), drunkenness (drinking until you have loss self control) orgies and the like (unrestrained sexual activity). These things lead to eternal punishment. If we are caught up in these things then we need to turn which is repent and come back to the Father.

There may be people saying you can live your life any kind of way and still make it into the kingdom of heaven. This is not true. We have to live as we have been told by the bible. The bible leads us to heaven if we follow and keep God’s word.

Revelation 21:27 New International Version (NIV)

27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

God is giving people opportunity now to come to Him for repentance before it is too late. The Lord is coming back for His church.

2 Peter 3:9-10 New International Version (NIV)

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

He’s coming back for His church. Those who have heard His words, listened, and prepared themselves for His return will make it to Heaven.

Matthew 25:1-13 New International Version (NIV)

The Parable of the Ten Virgins

25 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

“At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’

“Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’

“‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.

11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’

12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

Don’t be like the ones who cannot enter but be like the ones who were expecting the Lord to come back just like He promised and was ready when He arrived.

Revelation 22:14-16 English Standard Version (ESV)

14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. 15 Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”

God does force his truth on anyone. We are given the choice to receive Him, to receive His salvation. If they wish not to receive the truth God will give them over to their wicked passions.

Romans 1:27-29 King James Version (KJV)

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

If we do not desire the truth God will give us exactly what we desire and we will suffer the consequences of our choice.

Receive God’s salvation today. Receive his forgiveness of sins and live a life in eternity with God instead of living a life tormened in Hell.

Holy Holy Holy

isaiah_1_18_by_janus3003-d8hztan

People of the world have questions today. One question they may be asking, “Is it really necessary for people to be holy?” If we belong to God then we are meant to be holy. God has called us to live a life of holiness to Him.

1 Thessalonians 4:7 New Life Version (NLV)

For God has not called us to live in sin. He has called us to live a holy life.

This means that you do not live your life like everybody else. You are not looking for ways to gratify fleshly pleasures. GOD is aware of what we need for the day so it should not be first in our mind. We should have such assurance in our GOD that everyone we meet or come in contact with today will be influenced by our GOD. We know this because we wake up every morning with our mind on Jesus. We are not worried about daily tasks, we are not worried about who likes us or not, we are not worried about what’s on the news. All we know is that this is the day that the LORD has made and everything the LORD makes is good. We are not looking for bad things to happen, only good. We are positive people with a good outlook on life. GOD our Father has only good things for His children.

Matthew 7:11 King James Version (KJV)

11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

GOD’s children do not ask amiss, knowing the Father and what delights and pleases Him, His children ask just right.

Matthew 21:22 King James Version (KJV)

22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Matthew 7:7 King James Version (KJV)

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

John 8:31 King James Version (KJV)

31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

That what we have learned, let us continue. GOD is constantly at work using us to encourage and move people in a the right relationship with Him. GOD is working to move people out of darkness into the marvelous light and away from the influence of Satan. GOD has begun a mighty work with us. People think it has a lot to do with what we say. Sometimes its what we do not say that has more of an impact on people. You may have a reason to argue, fuss and fight but you choose not to. You chose to keep your mouth shut and let God straighten out the mess. The devil loves arguing, bickering and fighting. When we do not follow him, we mess up his plans. Instead of hatred people start loving. A stressful situation becomes less tense. Things return back to normal. All because you decided you were not going to follow behind the devil. Someone was affected. We often think things go unnoticed. Someone watched and saw how you handled a difficult situation in a Christ like manner. Your faith, your belief in GOD touched people. This is what it is all about; getting people to believe in Christ. What should people believe?

  1. One GOD – There is one GOD composed of three distinct persons; God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  2. God created the world – Genesis of the bible plainly explains how God spoke this world into existence.
  3. Jesus, God’s Son – Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and forgiveness of sins. Jesus was crucified, dead, and buried but on the third day, Jesus arose from the dead with all power in his hands and now sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
  4. The Bible – This is a holy book that contains God inspired Word and is used as a guide for faithful living to God.
  5. Sin – People are born into sin because of Adam’s disobedience of eating from the tree of knowledge in the garden of Eden. Sin separates people from God. We can only be reconciled back to Father God by the blood of Jesus that washes our sins away.
  6. Salvation – Repentance of sins, belief in Jesus Christ, his crucifixion, his death, his burial, and his resurrection
  7. Afterlife – Believe that there is a heaven and a hell. Those who have believed the gospel and received Christ as their Savior go to heaven. Those who have not believed the gospel and rejected Jesus Christ as their Savior go to Hell.

Jesus makes the difference. Christian faith works. People need to see people believing in the Lord and Savior through good and the rough times. He is still God in both. God is there with us through everything. He promised He would never leave or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). His promises are a sure foundation to stand on during tumultuous times. Don’t turn your back on God today. He has not forgotten you. Where is your faith? Amen……………

Be Ready for Jesus Return

jesus___coming_soon_by_frozenear-d364lj0

The world is living like Jesus is not coming back one day to judge the world for the wrong they have done. In their mind Jesus is gone so now they can party and live any kind of way they want. This is not true. People will be asked to give account for the way they have lived in this world.

Matthew 25:1-13 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins

25 “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

“And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.

11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour[b] in which the Son of Man is coming.

Jesus is coming back. Be ready for His return. Have yourself together. Let your lamps be full of oil and be ready to leave with Him when He comes to you.

Matthew 5:16 King James Version (KJV)

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Let their be not a question of whose side you are own. People know you are a Christian by your conversation and by the way you carry yourself. What is Jesus going to find at His return?

Revelation 22:11 King James Version (KJV)

11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

Those who are living for Jesus continue to live for Jesus. Jesus is going to return like a thief in the night.

1 Thessalonians 5:2-4 Common English Bible (CEB)

You know very well that the day of the Lord is going to come like a thief in the night. When they are saying, “There is peace and security,” at that time sudden destruction will attack them, like labor pains start with a pregnant woman, and they definitely won’t escape. But you aren’t in darkness, brothers and sisters, so the day won’t catch you by surprise like a thief.

Be ready for Jesus return!!!!!!!!!

The Days of Trickery

christians_are_being_persecuted_by_armandacyd-d5dbgay

How many of you out there know that we are living in the times of trickery. The devil think he is crafty and cunning with his conniving and underhanded ways but God (Yahweh) knows what’s going on. We are living in times when those who are doing evil will appear good and those who are doing good will appear evil. Anyone who continues with the true teachings of Christ will be talked about unfavorably but people who follow God must not let the deceit of the devil worry, upset, stress, irritate, annoy, bother or pester them. This is the goal of the devil so that you will stop living your life for God (Yahweh) and come over to his side. He wants to discourage you and get you off track and off course. He wants to control the way we think, he wants to manage and dictate to us what we should do and where we should go. We do not belong to the devil. He does not have any type of authority or dominion over us church and don’t be afraid church to let him know it. Those of us who know our bible let the words of God flow from our lips to put the devil in his place which is under our feet.

Luke 10:18-19 American Standard Version (ASV)

18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan fallen as lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you.

Let’s just get ready church. The church of America is going mocked and disrespected, treated irreverently, disparagingly, cynically, sarcastically and scornfully. The world will come after the people of God  to discredit us and give us a bad name. Anyone who believes or reads the bible will be considered extremely foolish or psychotic. They will call believers of Christ the biggest bigots and haters of the human race. The devil has fooled a lot of people with his lies, swindling, and deceptions. The people of God will not be well received by many now because of the devil’s trickery. Hostility and ill treatment of believers is always meant for evil from the devil but God always means it for our good.

Romans 8:28 King James Version (KJV)

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

During these days we must be filled with the Word of God because people will turn their back on you and call you everything but a child of God. Their influence is the devil and  fitting in with this world. As for Christians this world is not our home.

1 Peter 2:11-12 The Message (MSG)

11-12 Friends, this world is not your home, so don’t make yourselves cozy in it. Don’t indulge your ego at the expense of your soul. Live an exemplary life among the natives so that your actions will refute their prejudices. Then they’ll be won over to God’s side and be there to join in the celebration when he arrives.

Hebrews 13:14 New Living Translation (NLT)

14 For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come.

John 17:14-16 King James Version (KJV)

14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

John 15:19 King James Version (KJV)

19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

1 John 2:15-17 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)

15 Don’t love this evil world or the things in it. If you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 16 This is all there is in the world: wanting to please our sinful selves, wanting the sinful things we see, and being too proud of what we have. But none of these comes from the Father. They come from the world. 17 The world is passing away, and all the things that people want in the world are passing away. But whoever does what God wants will live forever.

Philippians 3:20 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)

20 But the government that rules us is in heaven. We are waiting for our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, to come from there.

AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Strong Powerful Christian Faith

cute_bodybuilder_by_maedhros85-d4mhav1

People tell me why is everything tolerant but Christian faith. Every other faith is widely received and accepted but let a Christian want to do a prayer at a graduation, let a Christian believer want to witness to someone at a school, let a follower of Christ read a bible verse out loud in the mall and people will have an angry outburst. What is it about my Lord and Savior that makes people angry? God (Yahweh)is a good God; not only is HE good but HE is real. Our God is not made of wood or stone or brass. Man did not create God (Yahweh) but God created man. God rules and haves dominion over what He created. We do not tell God what to do; He tells us what to do and His children, those who are called His own do what they are asked. We know our God and our God knows us. Christians know who they serve; and all knowing and all powerful God. He made the heavens and the sea and the earth all that is within. HE is God all by HIMSELF.

The devil does not command God’s children. Those who have studied God’s Word know what is acceptable and what is not acceptable to God. Anything that does not look our sound like Him a person of God will not follow.

John 10:3-5 New International Version (NIV)

The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.”

The devil cannot bully God’s people around either. God tells us to be bold and to stand firm against the trickery of the devil.

Joshua 1:9 New International Version (NIV)

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

HE tells us also do not fear.

Isaiah 35:4 NIV

4 say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.”

This is what the Lord needs during these evil wicked times in which we are living. Do not give up on your Christian faith. God has not abandoned you. He is still right there; just like HE has always been. HE says HE will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We can always rely on God to keep HIS WORD to us. HE proved that with HIS SON JESUS dying on the cross for us. Adam had messed everything up but GOD’S SON JESUS made everything right again. Jesus took the sting out of death.

1 Corinthians 15:55-57 English Standard Version (ESV)

55 “O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”

56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus our Savior ascended into heaven after dying on the cross. HE will return for HIS church, those who kept the faith and did not give up. You can believe this. It will happen.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

15 Our Lord Jesus told us that when he comes, we won’t go up to meet him ahead of his followers who have already died.

16 With a loud command and with the shout of the chief angel and a blast of God’s trumpet, the Lord will return from heaven. Then those who had faith in Christ before they died will be raised to life. 17 Next, all of us who are still alive will be taken up into the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the sky. From that time on we will all be with the Lord forever.

AMEN!!!!!!!!
